There is a big J in the middle of the page as the artist this double page spread is about is called Jay Z. It's red so it stands out and could also represent Jay Z being very hot and currant at the moment as the colour red represents heat.
Large picture of Jay Z as this article is about him and people buying the magazine will be interested to look and find out more when they see Jay Z is on the front
The sunglasses and chain on Jay Z portray his Hip-Hop style and makes it clear this is the sort of look he likes to go for.
Large letter stars some of the sentences in some of the paragraphs and this may be because they are paragraphs that the consumer will find more interesting
Black text on a white background makes it easy for the consumer to read rather then there being other colours which won't make the text as clear
Cover lines talking about other story's which would also interest the consumer.
The word ginger is in the colour ginger this is ironic and suppose to make the consumer laugh, we also know Edd Sheeran the artist is proud of being ginger
Edd Sheeran is very much just about him and his guitar in his music
London is in the background of Edd Sheerans picture as this is where is career started, Edd Sheeran used to busk outside Wembley and around other areas of London and he now sells out stadiums all around the world
The text is written in black with a white background this makes it easy for the consumer to read, it also complements the other colours on the page
The word hot is in the colour red as red represents heat
50 cents clothes represent his Hip-Hop style with a baggy t-shirt and baggy jeans
The whole page is in black and white and this could represent adele's classy style. She doesn't want loads of different colours but a more simple professional looking colour scheme
The masthead to this page says the triumph of Adele in big text letting the consumer know that this is going to be a story on Adele's triumph and they will want to read more into the story
The picture of Adele is on the right and all the text is on the left so it doesn't overlap each other the person can clearly read the text without the picture interfering
Big capital letter to start the first sentence and this feature is present in many magazines that we read today
