It is our endeavour at AIMA, being the apex body for the promotion of management profession in the country to identify potential managers for grooming in reputed management institutes so that the future managers can shoulder greater and greater responsibilities in industry, government or academia enabling nation building at faster pace.

The information contained in this bulletin is self-explanatory and hence you are advised to peruse the same in detail. Please follow these instructions meticulously so that the entire process can be completed smoothly.

We provide the entire range of services from test registration to the provision of MAT Score Card within the consolidated fee already paid by you.

AIMA-CMS is an independent testing body. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India periodically reviews the approval status of the various Post Graduate Programmes in Management. Therefore, we advise you to ascertain the approval status of the programmes you intend to join.

In case you have any query, please feel free to contact us. Disputes if any, pertaining to this test will be settled through an Arbitrator, who shall be appointed by the Director General, AIMA. Further, all legal cases pertaining to this test will be dealt under the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts only.

Test AdministrationGENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Candidates are to report to the allottedtest centreat least90minutesbefore thescheduledcommencementofthetest.

Candidateswillbepermittedentryintothetest centre upto half an hour before thecommencementofthetest.

Candidatesaretobeinpossessionofthefollowingwhenreportingtothetestcentre:Document:AdmitCarddulycompletedandvalid IDProof.Writing Materials: Blue /BlackBallPointPen.

The test roomwill be opened about 60minutesbefore thecommencementof thetest.Thecandidatesaretobeseatedattheallottedplace.

YourAdmitCardandvalidIDProofwillbeverifiedduring the test.OnepartofAdmitCardwillbegiventoyouasproofofyourhavingappearedinthetest.Pleaseensurethatthisisdulysignedbyyouandthetestinvigilator.

Thedurationofthetestis2hours30minutes.Thereare200questions.Allquestionsarecompulsory.Eachquestionhasfouroptionsmarked(1),(2),(3)and(4)or(A),(B),(C)and(D).

All questions carry equal marks. There will be Negative Marking for wrong answers.

Itisyourresponsibilitytomakecertainthatyou understand and follow the directionsfor answering. AIMA can accept the

Although theMAT stresses on accuracymorethanspeed,itisimportanttousetheallotted timewisely.Make every effort topace yourself bymaking yourself familiarwiththemechanicsofthetest.

The directions explain exactlywhat eachsetofquestions requires toanswer thosequestions.Readalltestdirectionscarefully.Readeachquestioncarefullyandthoroughly.Before answering a question, determineexactlywhatisbeingasked.

Calculator, Mobile, Electronic Gadgets etc are not permitted inside the test room.

AllthequestionsandinstructionsofthetestwillbeinEnglishonly.

Candidatewillbeallowedtoleavethetestroomafterthecompletionoftestandonlyafterpermittedbytheinvigilator.Ifyouwishtoleavetheroomduringthetest,youmusthavetheinvigilator’spermission.Youwillnotbepermittedtomakeupthetimeyoulose.

admission/entry to the test/withhold theresultsofanycandidatewhoimpersonates/usesunfairmeansduring the test.This iswithout prejudice to any other action thatcanbeinitiated.

Non-adherencetoanyinstructionorfailureto comply with any rules governing theconductof testwill lead tocancellationofyourcandidature.

REMOTELY PROCTORED INTERNET BASED TEST :

Giventhechangingstructureanddynamicsof newWorld due to Covid 19, socialdistancing& travel related restrictionsarenewnormsnow,needofhour is toadapttonewapproachforconductingexamsforcandidates.

ConsideringthisAIMAhascomeupwithnewsolutionofRemoteProctoredInternetBasedTest(IBT);throughthisTestmodecandidatescantakethetestfromtheconvenienceandconfinesoftheirownhome.

Theproctoring(invigilationandsupervision)willbedoneremotelyfromthecontrolroom.Remote Proctored Internet Based Test

(IBT)allowsproctorstomonitorcandidatesfrom afar and assist in conducting time-bound tests/examswith easeandwithoutcompromisingtheintegrityoftheassessment.

RequirementsfortakingIBTarecomputersystem (laptop or desktop)withworkingwebcamandmic,OperatingSystemWindowsV-7orabove,andinternetconnectionwithminimum bandwidth of 512 kbps. Theprocess includes installing software thatkeepstrackof thecandidate’s testactivityusinghis/hercomputerscreen,utilizingthewebcamtowatchandrecordeverydetail,andharnessingthepowerofAItoanalyzethestudent’sactionsduringthetest/exam.
