training course in order to get the knowledge of their precast

the design stage then the casting stage and finally the

installation stage. This experience gave me a great knowledge

I worked for five years in this company as a site engineer during

which I learned how to fulfill the contracting objectives on the

site and I ensured implementation of the consultant‘s orders to

match the drawings and how to review and check the work done

on the site. Moreover I have seen the obstacles that face the

construction in Sudan and the problems that occur more often.

It clarified to me the necessity of making a plan before you start

any project and how to solve the problems with minimum risks.

College Projects:

I completed two projects while studying in level two and level four as well. I made the structural plan for a small residential building in which I have put and arranged for the columns and the beams to satisfy the building's needs for its safety and economy. This work was done with another colleague who helped me to select the type of material that should be used to fulfill the objectives of the project.

The other project was done in level four in which I participated with four members in dividing the college's assembly hall into two parts. The first level was supposed to contain ten classrooms and the other part to be re-constructed as an assembly hall. However the new assembly hall was smaller than the previous one. My work in this project was to observe the structural plan and to design the structural elements in order to carry the additional load that was put into the building. I also ensured that the existing columns in the first floor were strong enough to hold the new load that would be added above it. Moreover, I prepared a report about what has been made in this project based on its structure along with the instructions of the capacity of the new building.
