Mountain Ascent The Mountain Ascent is a remarkable hunting rifle. Weighing

just 4 pounds, 13 ounces when chambered in .308 Winchester,

it delivers both ultra-light weight and exceptional accuracy across

a selection of proven calibers. The stainless steel barreled action

is coated in Shale Gray KimPro II for superior durability and

resistance to the elements, and the Kevlar/carbon fiber stock

is finished in Gore™ Optifade™ Open Country Concealment.

Weight-reducing features include a fluted barrel, bolt and bolt

handle; along with a hollow bolt knob. A removable muzzle brake

cuts recoil and a thread protector is included for optional use

Classic Stainless Select Grade Combining classic Kimber style and execution with the durability

of stainless steel, the Classic Stainless Select Grade is chambered

in cartridges ranging from .243 Winchester to .338 Winchester

Magnum. Stocked in rich AA-grade walnut with an ebony forend

tip, hand-cut checkering and hand-rubbed oil finish, it has the

look and feel of a custom rifle. The match grade barrel, chamber

and trigger ensure it shoots even better. A full-length Mauser claw

extractor provides the reliability of true controlled round feeding

and extraction, and the 3-position wing safety is positive, silent

Like all Kimber 1911 pistols, the Ultra CDP II has a barrel machined from solid steel to critical match grade dimensions. CDP pistols also have a Carry Melt treatment that rounds and blends edges so they will not snag.

Kimber 1911 chambers are cut to critical match grade dimensions so each pistol can realize its true accuracy potential. Ejection ports are lowered and flared so ejecting brass easily clears, avoiding jams.

Compact models blend the short grip of the Ultra with the longer,

4-inch barrel of Pro models, the reverse of the Ultra+ configuration.

The longer barrel increases the distance between the sights for more

consistent aiming. It also gives an increase in velocity and additional

weight improves balance and reduces felt recoil. Compact models

are ideal for shooters with smaller hands and work well for concealed

carry and home defense.

With a 3-inch bull barrel and a short grip, Ultra models are easy

to conceal and comfortable to carry. Most frames are made from

aluminum rather than steel to reduce weight. While light pistols do

have a slight increase in felt recoil, this is minimized by Kimber’s

recoil system and unequaled 1911 ergonomics. Ultra pistols are the

smallest and lightest 1911 pistols offered today, but Kimber quality

ensures this does not compromise either dependability or accuracy.

Combining a 4-inch barrel with a full-length grip, Pro models may be

the best all-around 1911 configuration. One is certain to be an ideal

choice for concealed carry, personal defense or general use. Some

have light weight aluminum frames while others have heavier steel

frames. Two even have the Kimber Tactical Rail™ for mounting lights

A shorter 4-inch bull barrel provides near-perfect balance and also makes them easier to carry and conceal.

Chambered in .45 ACP, 9mm or .38 Super; a

Kimber mid-size pistol is an ideal platform of

size, weight and power. With a wide variety of

options, they meet every need from duty carry to

home defense. Equally important, these pistols

do not compromise accuracy or reliability. The

Tacoma, Washington P.D. extensively tested

Pro Carry models and found them to be the

single most dependable firearm they had put

through the paces in 20 years. They compared

these Kimbers not only with other pistols, but

The Eclipse Target II .45 ACP features an adjustable night sight and the elegant Eclipse finish. Like most Kimber pistols, it accepts the Rimfire Target Conversion Kit.

Kimber Eclipse pistols have a brush-polished finish over a stainless steel slide and frame. The matte black small parts and gray/black laminated wood double diamond grips provide an appropriate finishing touch. Custom Shop additions include 30 lines- per-inch checkering on the front strap and a Premium Aluminum Trigger breaks at 4-5 pounds to ensure accuracy.

While the Eclipse finish is striking, performance

Breech faces are polished for dependable

feeding. Both the slide release lever and

magazine release button are textured for fast,

positive operation. The Eclipse Pro Target II

is the only Kimber with a 4-inch barrel and

adjustable sight, and the Eclipse Ultra II is one

of two 3-inch Kimber 1911s with a stainless steel

frame. Performance has never looked this good.

Eclipse pistols have 30 lines-per-inch checkering from the Kimber Custom Shop for a positive grip even with cold, wet or gloved hands. Laminated gray/black grip panels are checkered in the traditional 1911 double diamond pattern and complement the finish.

Shooting a 1911 chambered in .22 LR is an effective and economical way to teach new shooters and enhance the training of others regardless of their level of experience. Built in the Kimber Custom Shop, Rimfire Super pistols have front strap checkering, rosewood logo grips, Premium Aluminum Trigger, ambidextrous thumb safety and a serrated flat top slide with bold flutes.

Each Rimfire Super .22 LR is guaranteed to have fired a 5-shot, 25-yard group measuring 1.5 inches or less. Actual test targets are packaged with each pistol. All rimfire pistols and conversions include a 10-round magazine.

Rimfire pistols and conversion kits have adjustable dovetail-mounted sights with responsive steel-on-steel click adjustments. Additional accuracy-enhancing features include match grade barrel and chamber.

Model 8400 actions sized exclusively for WSM (Winchester Short

Magnum) cartridges have a greater diameter but remain as short

as possible to reduce weight, ensure proper balance and promote

fast handling. Barrels are the proper length for maximum velocity

and flat trajectory. Ideal for almost any North American big game,

Model 8400 rifles in WSM cartridges offer an unequaled balance of

power and light weight. Magazine capacity is 3-5 rounds.

Model 84M (Medium) actions have minimal dimensions for

cartridges ranging from .204 Ruger to .308 Winchester. The lightest

production rifles available today, this action shortens bolt travel for

faster operation and gives near-perfect balance for positive aiming.

Unlike other rifles that cut weight by reducing barrel length,

Model 84M barrels are the optimal length for the flattest trajectory

and superior accuracy. Magazine capacity is 4-6 rounds, depending

on the chambering.

Model 8400 magnum actions have the additional length required by

some of the world’s most powerful cartridges. From .300 Winchester

Magnum to .458 Lott, they are suitable for hunting both large and

Kimber varmint rifles ensure this level of performance through a combination of match grade components, careful bedding and proper design. Five specialized models cover it all, from predator calling to working from a stand.

suited for a day overlooking a prairie dog town. All have

Model 8400 Police Tactical showcases legendary Kimber

accuracy at a surprising price. Model 8400 Tactical and

Advanced Tactical models must fire a 3-shot, 0.5-inch

group at 100 yards. They are built in limited quantities

with hand-finishing that includes a chamber with SAAMI

minimum specifications, trued bolt face, hand-lapped lugs

and custom-bedded McMillan A-5 stock.

Kimber tactical rifles have match grade barrels, chambers

and triggers for the highest degree of accuracy.

Actions feature a full-length Mauser claw extractor for

the unequaled dependability of controlled-round feeding,

plus extended bolt handle and large bolt knob. The

Model 84M LPT and Model 8400 Patrol are urban

tactical rifles with short-barrel portability. The

Tactical rifles feature extended bolt handles with large knobs for positive operation with gloved hands. Match grade triggers have a sharp, consistent pull. A floorplate release inside the trigger guard prevents accidental opening.

Kimber Tactical rifles have a full-length Mauser claw extractor for the true controlled-round feeding and extraction that guarantees absolute dependability. The 3-position wing safety is fast and positive.

Optical Sights Meprolight M-21 reflex sights deliver a bright, dependable aiming point without any

reliance on battery power. Each has zero magnification, is parallax-free and fitted

with a 30mm lens for a wide field of view that provides fast aiming. In daylight, fiber

optic cables capture ambient light to project a bright amber aiming point on the lens,

and this brightness self-adjusts to prevailing light conditions. In low light, the M-21

automatically transitions to Tritium power at the appropriate brightness. Meprolight

reflex sights are battle-tested tough and include a quick attach/detach mounting

system that fits Picatinny rails. These sights are backed by a 10-year illumination

warranty to the original purchaser.

Meprolight M-21 reflex sights operate without battery power. Four distinct reticle options are offered.

Reticles include Dot (5.5 MOA), Triangle (12 MOA), Bullseye (30 MOA outside, 4.3 MOA dot) and Open X (21.5 MOA outside, 4.3 MOA center).

6-round magazine fits flush while the 8-round version is extended

for increased capacity and gripping area.

1911 Magazines Kimber 1911 magazines are available in an assortment of finishes, sizes
