Drum and IBC Washers – Rotajet Manufacturing
Batch Washing Machines
Rotajet manufacture a range of batch 200 litre drum washing machines for use with water based
detergents. The machines are available with single stage wash or multiply stages to include rinse and
DI rinse steam extraction and dry, depending on the application. The drums are processed in a fully
enclosed cabinet to minimize health and safety issues, this also allows any fumes produced in the
cleaning process to be extracted and treated if required.
• The Rotajet D60dw will process 4x200 litre drums (open or closed top) per batch
• The Rotajet D40dw will process 1x200 litre drums (open or closed top) per batch The
machines require heating to achieve optimum cycle times, this can be done via. gas, oil,
steam or electric heating.
Rotajet manufacture a range of aqueous and non-flammable solvents for use in the machines
depending on the type of material that contaminates the drums to be cleaned. The list is shown
below:

The Plastic Drum Washer consists of a two stage wash machine designed to wash and rinse
contaminated closed and open top drums. The drums are manually loaded into the machine at high
level, once loaded the machine will index the drum through a series of stages identified below.
The wash and rinse solution re-circulates optimising water usage, the machine is also fitted with
sample points allowing the solution to be inspected at regular intervals.
Three control panels are located on the machine Main control panel, Pneumatic control panel and
Remote operating panel. The remote control panel is located on the loading platform allowing the
operator to have full control of the machine from the main operation area. This includes a remote
track reset button which has to be pressed after each drum has been loaded.
