CONTRIBUTORS!!! KIND ATTENTION PLEASE

It is indeed a matter of satisfaction that this journal has completed

23 years of continuous publication. The journal during last 2.3 years

inspite oflimited resources, has earned a commendable recognition

in the scientific forum nationally as well as abroad. the journal com­

mittee have been working hard and has spared no efforts to enhance

the standard of scientific material and get up. However, there is al­

ways a scope [or improvement. Scientific organ like this demands a sincere and astute

interest and unstinted efforts of its contributors, as the academic and scientific standard

solely depends on the quality of input by the contributors. Could I look forward for their

cooperation and request them to take a little more interest and do a bit more hard work on

the article before sending to the journal for publication. We have been printing instructions

to the contributors in the journal from time to time. It seems that the contributors knowingly

or unknowingly do not take not ofthese. It seems that many times the authors especially the

guide or senior author do not even go through the manuscript before it is being forwarded

for publication leaving numerous spelling and other mistakes which ultimately crop into the

l'uhlit:(1tiull. Many a times photographs are poor and lack clanty. Tnhlcs find tigures do not

carry proper captions. The histopathological pictures are not properly labe~ed and at times

even do not show the details. Most of the times rcfcrcnccs arc given without following

internationally accepted VANCOUVER STYLE. Contributors are advised to adopt a habit

of going through the manuscript, graphics, figures and other details and Self Access the

article and make sure that it is as per the desired format of the journal and material is of

significant standard and mistakes free.

Financial implications of continued publication of such a scientific organ need no over

emphasis. Contributors could help the journal by procuring advertisements to make this

journal financially viable.
