COOK Academy2
Following several years as a Senior Tutor at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, I founded
Cook Academy in 2005. Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength, and last year
welcomed ‘The Murray School of Cookery’ into the Cook Academy stable. At our
purpose-built kitchens in Alresford, you’ll find a team of fully-trained professional cooks with
a wealth of high-profile restaurant experience and practical teaching skills under their belts.
We’re delighted to bring you our course schedule for 2012. Perhaps you want to cook
better at home or university, focus on specific flavours, increase your repertoire or entertain
with ease? There’s something for everyone; whether you’re an absolute beginner or a
confident cook, you’ll come away from our practical courses with a variety of new skills
and plenty of food to impress your family and friends. Choose from our popular half day,
evening and one day sessions, or extend the experience over a more intensive week or a
one month certificate course. The younger generation is also well catered for, with cookery
clubs, holiday workshops and great value five week courses for budding chefs aged 7 to 16.
Please do give us a call if you have a request for specific culinary training or to arrange a
bespoke celebration event, birthday party or corporate team building day. We’re always
happy to answer your queries, and we look forward to seeing you soon at The Station Mill

These are certificate courses designed to give you a thorough grounding in all the main cookery skills, whether you want simply to cook better at home, cook in a chalet for a ski season or cater for small events. Light lunch included every day and lots of food to take home (to serve one).
