Heavy Duty COP 1800HD Series

The HD range of drifters from Atlas Copco feature a much stronger design. – Based on the COP 1800 design

– No changes required to feed/hoses

– 4-bolt front head

– No all-the-way-through side bolts

– More “meat” in the front head

– Tougher impact piston

Australia (6 x locations)– Tested with customers that perform face drilling,

bolting and scaling (lots of “free hammering”) with Boomers

– Owner operators and contractors

– Several sites with high saline flushing water

– High utilization of equipment

Results – High customer acceptance (placing orders for

conversion kits)

– During 3 month trial only parts consumed were “soft parts” such as seals and front guide (normal wear item)
