Getting Started: Field Experience
• Participant-observer:– Participate and study class activities, child
development, teaching methods (part-time)
• Student teacher:– 10-12 weeks of full-day assignment to teacher
– You teach & are formally observed by a supervisor from your training program
– Usually –there are two placements (different grades)
