Cadbury Fundraiser

chocolates will arrive next

week. Thank you to our families for supporting this fundraiser. Notes were sent home last term to all

families asking if they wished to receive a box of chocolates to sell or simply donate. Some families have chosen to donate $25 rather than take a box, we thank you immensely for your support and thank you to the families who will receive their box of chocolates to sell next week.

One box of chocolates will be sent home per family on Wednesday 23rd July (unless we have already

received your note back with your donation).

Last time we did the Cadbury fundraiser we raised over $3600 to assist with the purchase of iPads for the

school. Hopefully we will raise close to $5000 this year to go towards improving our outside play areas and

the installation of an outside learning area. A prize will be awarded to the top seller with all families who sell a box of chocolates receiving a raffle ticket per box sold to go into the draw for a variety of

prizes. Thank you for your support.

Each box has 50 chocolate frogs to be sold for $1

each. The $50 needs to be returned to school as soon as possible, you can do this after selling all chocolates or send in the $50 and sell them at your leisure. All monies are due to be returned by Thursday 21st August.

Parent helpers are needed Tuesday morning to help sort and label the chocolates. Please meet in the staffroom at 9.00am if you are able to help out. Remember, many hands make light work, we would love your assistance.

Once a Week, Take a Peek

We have only been back 4 days and already head lice

are out and about. All families are asked to please check each child’s hair for head lice

each Sunday before they return to school. Please treat immediately if

an infestation is found. The incidence of head lice would reduce

significantly if this quick check was undertaken weekly by all families.

So remember, Once a Week, Take a Peek!

Ensure your child is at school every day.

Every day counts and

every minute

in the classroom counts.

Arrive by 9 for optimal learning

time.

NO excuses.

Second hand school jumpers are

available for $2. If your child needs a

jumper you may send $2 to school with

your child and we will assist them in

finding the right size.

Birthday Books Thank you Rhylee,

Monica, Chauncey,

Rosdom and Katrina for

donating birthday

books to our library. We

hope you had wonderful

birthdays.

If you would like to

donate a birthday

book to the school,

please see Linda in

the library.

THUMBS UP to the families who are at school

every day possible and on time. We think you

are FANTASTIC!
