coresuite cloud connector for SAP ECC (E4C)This is how you get your SAP data into the cloud.

· Utilize selected company data (Shared Business objects; in short SBO) from your SAP systems in the coresuite cloud for your mobile applications using the E4C Cloud Connector.· Load the coresuite iPhone App onto your mobile unit (iPhone/iPad, others are following) and you are already working on the go.· No additional infrastructure or middle ware is necessary.· Developed by using standard SAP and Microsoft .NET technology.· High security as a result of «push & sync», meaning no active access to your SAP systems is possible through the cloud or through other external systems.· Secure data transfer using encryption.

Functional principleExtractor.Changes to defi ned business objects (in SAP or in the cloud) trigger the transfer of data. The exchange of data results from the SAP system via the SAP standard IDoc mechanism.

Message Broker.A lightweight Message Broker is responsible for handling data and conversion of the data between the extractor and the transporter.

Transporter.Secure transfer of the data between SAP and the cloud.Outgoing connections are built periodically for security rea-sons («push & sync» mechanism similar to a reverse proxy), meaning the cloud is unable to set up a connection to the transporter by itself.

Standardized communication.The extractor and the Message Broker are constantly being set up on the proven and tested SAP IDoc (ALE/EDI) techno-logy and infrastructure for the transfer of your business data using standard and cloud-specifi c IDoc types of communi-cation. The transporter communicates with the cloud through XML.

Simple monitoring using standard SAP tools.All of the IDoc monitoring and test tools available in the SAP standard can be used for monitoring the E4C connector with the use of the SAP standard IDoc technology and infrastructure as well as the applications of third party suppliers.

Standard speci� cations and expandability.The coresuite cloud connector for SAP ECC (E4C) can be obtained in various forms depending on the business objects to be synchronized. Additional client-specifi c business objects or attributes of objects may be added easily.

Security for your systems and data.Your systems in a safe place: Only active outgoing connections are built to the cloud from the transporter meaning that the cloud or other systems are unable to set up a connection to the transporter by themselves. Comparable to a reverse proxy the data is likewise transmitted from the cloud to SAP with every SAP transmission to the cloud. The secure com-munication between the cloud and the transporter is guaranteed through an encoded connection.

Your data is in a safe place: The coresuite cloud is fi tted with its own fi rewall, which effi ciently protects your data against illegal access. Your information is secured by an encrypted data connection with every data transmission from the cloud to your mobile unit or to other ecosystems.

Push & SyncYour ERP master data continues to be

stored locally on your ERP server. The coresui-te cloud connector makes it possible to syn-chronize between your ERP system and the coresuite cloud (mastercloud). The connector exclusively sends (push & sync) the data (so-called Shared Business Objects; in short: SBO), which you have defi ned through the selection of the application module, encoded (SSL, Se-cure Socket Layer) into the coresuite cloud.

Mobile accessThe data (SBO’s) stored in the coresuite

cloud can be retrieved by various mobile units irrespective of time and location. coresuite mobile is the solution that fi ts for the mobile exchange of data between your ERP and your mobile end unit and at the same time it esta-blishes the standard application for access by your mobile employees to your company data. coresuite mobile will also be utilizable on other platforms (Android, BlackBerry) in the near future as well and not just be available on the iPhone and the iPad.

SecurityA secure exchange of data is indispensa-

ble. On the one hand your own company fi rewall protects your data from unauthorized access. On the other hand the coresuite cloud is fi tted with its own fi rewall, which protects your data against illegal access. Your informa-tion is secured by an encoded data connec-tion with every exchange of data between the Cloud and your mobile end unit or another ecosystem.

Integration of the ecosystemThe coresuite cloud has the ability to

communicate with other applications in the ecosystem. Consequently, other systems and applications can be connected so that your SBO’s in the coresuite cloud and therefore all of the cloud’s amenities can be used. The core-suite mastercloud retrieves the data needed from the ecosystem, assimilates this data and redirects the encrypted data to the diff erent mobile units.

The cloudThe data (SBO’s) of your ERP environment

are stored in the coresuite cloud and made available for the respective mobile units and ecosystems. The coresuite cloud is divided up into diff erent databases (Data Clouds), which communicate with the Master Cloud through VPN (Virtual Personal Network) through an SSL encryption. The data can only be retrieved by authorized users. The coresuite cloud solu-tions use the Amazon E3 services and guaran-tee high availability.

Functionality that can be integrated The potential exists to access the data

(SBO’s) in the cloud through web applications and web services. So online applications with access to your coresuite cloud can simply im-plement data.
