All games are played in the Speare Hall Commons
Teams consist of 2 players standing at opposite boards facing each other
Co-ed Rule: There must 1 player of each gender playing at the beginning of a game

A team that scores 21 points before their opponent or has the best score after one hour of play will be declared the winner.
The sport supervisor will decide when games will be stopped for rain or weather, or when time has expired.

Each team plays with 4 bags
Opponents at the same board alternate tosses
The round is scored after all 8 bags are thrown
The last team to score receives “honors” meaning they are the first to throw in the next round.

• A bag that lands and stays on the board counts as 1 point.
• A bag that lands or slides completely through the hole counts as 3 points.
• The score at the end of each round is the difference of the points scored by each team during that round.
• A team will receive 3 points for any bag pushed through the hole by an opponent’s toss.
• Any bags that touch the ground or are tossed out of turn do not count.
• If a bag that was settled on the board is knocked off of the board, it does not count.

Foot fouls: No player throwing the bag may step past the front of the board on their side.
Any points scored are discounted Opponents call footfalls and they must be honored
Players may not distract or deceive their opponents
The sport supervisor has the final authority on all disputes
