In 2012, Tracy Barlow who has been in jail for 15 years came out and found love with Rob who is Carla

brother. He is very nice and powerful to Tracy. Sometimes he can flirt with other women like Tina or

Carla.

In Some of the storylines, Rob and Tracy decided to open their own shop after Peter left to join Carla in

Underworld.

Tracy going to court- 2007In 2007, Tracy Barlow murder Charlie Stubbs with a

big metal object. After his death, Tracy was charged for this and had a big month at court leading up to

her trial in May.

While waiting for her trial, Deidre and Ken were with her up to her trial. After months of waiting, Tracy was sentence to prison for 15 years. This was very epic and left viewers knowing what was going to happen

to Tracy!!.

David Platt David Platt is a teenager who was naughty but has

been very nice know. He has a mum called Gail, Nick and Kylie. His apperence on the street has been very cheeky in 2007-2009 then he became good in 2011-

13.

He is one of my favourite bad boys because he loves the street and his mum. This is why I want to look at

his character in Coronation Street.

David Platt hurts mumIn 2008, David decided to hurt his mum and destroy

his family. After a week of explosive storylines, David started pushing his mum down the stairs

after confronting Tina about his wedding and new daughter.

After pushing his mum, David decides to vandalise the street with a cane and starts kicking cars and

other buildings before the police arrives!.

Hayley & RoyHayley and Roy own their restaurant/café to

members of the street. Roy decide to marry Hayley after a couple of years of working with her. She

decides her wedding day, but Mary tries to ruin the wedding for them.

They get a steam train to the wedding with Becky and Carla meeting Roy at the reception and

marrying.

Hayley’s cancer storyline-2013/14In 2013, Hayley Cropper was going to leave coronation

Street. The only way that she could leave was that their was a dying storyline. In December 2013, Hayley decide to have

treatment for her cancer. This was through a cancer storyline.

On January 22nd 2014, Hayley last scenes were broadcast on itv. Viewers would see Hayley dying with Roy in the

background. In the next couple of months, Roy is terribly in grief.

Tram Crash- the lead up- 2011In 2011, to celebrate the street’s 50 annivasary, their was

a big storyline called the Tram Crash which happened over 5 dramatic and explosive nights of television.

The lead up to the Tram Crash had to be secret because no one of the cast didn’t know who was going to die.

Filming took place in October to November then broadcast on 6th December 2011.

Night of the Tram CrashOn the night of 6th December 2011, the Tram Crash week

started by Peter having his party and the girls joyfully singing in the Rovers Return. Poor Ken was onirec the street before a EPIC bang happened and this

started the Tram Crash.

Fire, smoke and Tram all one one night of epic television. This was cleverly done by the script

writers and cast members who were on the street that night.

Tram Crash live episode On Wednesday 9th of December 2011, Coronation Street

filmed a live episode thaINt was about the aftermath of the dramatic Tram Crash. In this episode, Peter was in hospital

after the fire and Leanne was beside herself before the doctors told him to rest afterwards.

Molly Dobbs died and Ashley Peacock died in this episode. This brought nearly 10 million to see the episode.
