Corporate Banking Operations and Technology: Cash Management
Cash management is growing in importance and good cash management techniques are vital to the success of any business. Not only has the role of corporate treasury become more strategic, cash management – and the transaction bankers who provide the services – have steadily gained an elevated status in the years since the financial crisis.
Regulation continues to shape the cash management business, and there has been particular focus on Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. It is paramount that bankers know who they are doing business with (their clients) as well as monitoring transaction data and make the right connections.
