Function areas INDOOR SPACES

Oceans Lounge 1 & 2

Available individually or combined, the lounge sections are the perfect

setting for small to mid-sized groups. Sample the best beverage

selection on offer & soak up the atmosphere. The lounges come

complete with plush sofas scattered with cushions, low tables, high

round tables & chairs.

Oceans Dining Room

A semi private & vibrant space, Oceans Dining Room is the premium

offering for functions. Set apart from the rest of the venue with a half wall

featuring a fireplace; the Dining Room has nine wooden tables and

chairs with lush banquet seating edging the room. The Dining Room is

the perfect destination for lounging & entertaining in style. Oceans

Dining Room can be used for both sit down dinners, or canapé style

functions.

OUTDOOR SPACES

The Verandah

Overlooking Coogee Beach & the Pacific Ocean, this undercover

outdoor space is the ultimate location for an alfresco waterfront event.

The Verandah is available year round with in-built heating & lighting.

The Terrace

Ideal for those who want to enjoy the open air, the ocean views & the

upbeat music. The Terrace is the perfect place to spend a casual

afternoon or evening with friends.

*Oceans is available for exclusive use & private hire. Minimum spends

apply.

Event Terms & Conditions

Pricing

All prices are correct at the time/date of publication, however Oceans Dining and Drinks reserves the right to change the prices

and content without notice due to market conditions. All food and beverage consumed in the venue must only be that which

Oceans dining & drinks has provided. Minimum spends apply.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Oceans dining & drinks is committed to patron care and adheres to the strict Liquor Act in regards to responsible service of

alcohol & current licensing laws. We thank you in advance for your support throughout your event.

Special Dietary Requirements

Our team of qualified chefs take great care in the preparation of menu items, however some food products may contain

allergens that individual guests may be allergic to. Please advise of dietary requirements upon booking and must be finalised

12 prior to the event.

Confirmation & Payments

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form & the payment of a 30% deposit of the quoted minimum spend,

or the entire catering charge, whichever is the higher amount. All catering needs to be finalised 12- days prior to the event.

The final account must be settled at the completion of your event by either credit card or cash. If the function is based off a

minimum spend & this figure is not achieved, the client will be charged the balance. Please note functions held on a public

holiday attract a 10% surcharge.

Cancellation

Cancellation made up to 3 weeks prior to a booking will have the deposit reimbursed, less any costs incurred. For cancellations

made with between 1 & 3 weeks’ notice, we will retain 50% of the deposit. For cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice,

we will retain 100% of the deposit.

Theming

Theming is allowed in the venue: Balloons that are weighted to the ground or tables or flowers in vases. No tape on the walls.

No confetti or scatters. Any items brought into the venue must be removed at the conclusion of the event. Oceans dining &

drinks does not store items overnight. Any theming outside of these parameters must be confirmed pre event. Set up of any

decorations can be done half an hour before your start of your event.

Final guest numbers

Confirmation of guest numbers are required 10 working days prior to the event. Billing will be subject to these final numbers

supplied.

Event Host

It is the responsibility of the client to advise of ONE event Host/Onsite contact who will be responsible for liaising with an

Oceans dining & drinks representative throughout the duration of the event. Please note that this client representative must be

an authorized signatory for the account.

Patron Conduct

For the duration of your event you & your guests must agree to act in an orderly manner & abide by all hotel/venue policies &

regulations. You will be held financially responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests to the premises or our

property during an event. Oceans dining & drinks reserves the right to exclude any or all of the guests attending an event at its

sole discretion without liability. Behaviour from guests that is improper will not be tolerated. Oceans dining & drinks will not

accept any responsibility for damage to or loss of items, before, during or after a function.

Cakes

Cakes are allowed to be consumed within the venue without charge. However, an Indemnity Form must be completed and

signed prior to the function date. Please contact your event co-ordinator for further information. Oceans Dining & Drinks does

not store cakes overnight and must be taken at the conclusion of the event.
