Corporate Identity Guidelines

General rules

The elements of Monde Selection’s corporate identity described in the present Guidelines are:

1. The Corporate Logo 2. The Quality Awards 3. The International Wine Contest Medals 4. The Trophies 5. The Copyright Video & Pictures 6. The Copyright Name

All use of the elements belonging to Monde Selection’s corporate identity will respect the Monde

Selection’s corporate identity guidelines and, where applicable, local legislations.

Any article, press release, video, Internet or other media support using or referring to an element of

Monde Selection’s corporate identity will have to be approved by Monde Selection’s Organising

Committee prior to publication.

1. Corporate Logo

Obligations/Restrictions

• Image: White writing on blue background (Pantone 281) • Size: free • Ratio & Pantones : to be respected • Language: English (If a translation is needed for a specific market,

please have prior approval & validation from Monde Selection.)

2. Quality Awards

These Quality Awards are the ones to be used on products to be commercialized:

Grand Gold Award Gold Award Silver Award Bronze Award

Obligation/Restrictions

• Size: free • Ratio & Pantones: to be respected • Language: English

(If a translation is needed for a specific market, please have prior approval & validation from Monde Selection.)

• The Quality Awards can only be used with the compulsory mention of the type of award (bronze, silver, gold, grand gold) and the Year of attribution of the award

• The award can only be displayed on the awarded product • The use of the Quality Award is valid on the packaging of the awarded product during 5 years

from the year of award • The mention of the award on marketing tools (paper, video, internet…) is not limited in time as

long as the product name, the year and type of award are mentioned and clearly identifiable by all consumers

• The starting date of the use of the award is at reception of the official award notification • Only Grand Gold awards can use the ”palm leaves” in the design

• Any and all support can be used for the Quality Awards as long as the obligations are respected.

3. The International Wine Contest Medals

Grand Gold Medal Gold Medal Silver Medal Bronze Medal

Obligations/Restrictions

• Worldwide use • Size: free • Ratio: to be respected • The International Wine Contest Medals can only be used with the compulsory mention of the type of medal

(bronze, silver, gold, grand gold) and the year of attribution of the Medal. The medal can also be represented in its original colour.

• The Medals can only be displayed on all marketing & advertising media (including packaging) of the awarded wines within the limit of the marketing volumes declared upon registration of the contest.

• Only Grand Gold Medal can use the “palm leaves” in the design • Any and all support can be used for the International Wine Contest Medals as long as the obligations are

respected

4. The Quality Trophies

a. The International High Quality Trophy

• The International High Quality Trophy is granted to products having obtained a Grand Gold or Gold Award for 3 consecutive years..

• This trophy is given to the winning product • The use of the International High Quality Trophy is free as long

as: � It is associated with the product it was attributed to � The year of attribution is mentioned

• The use of the International High Quality Trophy is valid on the packaging of the awarded product during 5 years from the year of attribution.

• The mention of the Trophy on marketing tools (paper, video, internet…) is not limited in time as long as the product name and year of attribution are mentioned and clearly identifiable by all consumers

b. The Crystal Prestige Trophy

• The Crystal Prestige Trophy is granted to companies having received a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Grand Gold Award for ten consecutive years.

• This Trophy is given to the winning company. There is no picture of the Trophy available.

• The use of the Crystal Prestige Trophy is free as long as: � It is associated to the company it was attributed to � The year of attribution is mentioned

c. The 25 Years Trophy

• The 25 Years Trophy is granted to companies having received a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Grand Gold Award for twenty five consecutive years.

• This Trophy is given to the winning company. There is no picture of the Trophy available.

• The use of the 25 Years Trophy is free as long as: � It is associated to the company it was attributed to � The year of attribution is mentioned

5. The Copyright Video & Pictures

The use of the Monde Selection's video and pictures will have to be approved by Monde Selection prior to

publication

6. The Copyright Name

“Monde Selection - International Institute for Quality Selections”

Obligations/Restrictions

• Color: Pantone 281 • Size: free • Ratio & Pantone: to be respected • Typography: Garamond • The use of the registered name is free
