Lanner Electronics Inc Primary Logo

The Lanner logo is the basic element of the company’s corporate identity. The continuity and coherence in which the logo is presented directly affects the image of the company. It is very important that extreme care is taken in the way the logo is displayed, including colors, proportions and quality of the printed

output. Several versions of the logo ex-ist which are presented in the following pages.

Gradient colour. Preferred version. It should be displayed on top of a white background. It should be used only when the printing or reproduction methods ensure an optimal display quality. Being a vector image it can be scaled to any size.

Single colour, vector version. This version is suitable for single colour printing processes or vinyl cutouts. Being a vector image it can be scaled to any size. PMS 321C.

One ink, vector version. This version is recommended for low-end printing and reproduction methods such as fax documents or stamps where colour match can not be ensured.

Reverse, vector version. To be used whenever the background is black or dark colors. Also suitable for display on top of photographs or irregular backgrounds.

Lanner Corporate Slogan

The Lanner logo can be used inconjunction with the Corporate Slogan “creating value in applied computing” in the above ways.

The Lanner Corporate Slogan is written with a lower case ‘c’ in Frutiger light, and justi-fied across the length of the logo. This is the standard strapline lockup.

For tight spaces, use this alternative strapline lockup.

Logo Exclusion Zone

To enhance the logo design, an exclusion zone has been created which must always be respected. The zone consists of the immediate areas surrounding the circle mark, the logo lettering, and the registration mark.

This area (the x-height of the ‘anner’ text) must be

kept free of all other graphical elements. Shown in gray in the diagram to the left.

Minimum Logo Size

For professional printing, the smallest size that the logo should be printed at is 25mm. When the logo is used inconjunstion with the strapline, the minimum combined length is as defined above.

For web, the minimum logo size is 90 pix-els. When the strapline is used inconjunc-tion with the logo, the minimum size is as defined above.

FrutigerFrutiger is clear and legible. It lends an air of authority and efficiency to the Lanner brand.

Frutiger CondensedFor promotional material, tabular text or occasions when space is limited Frutiger Con-

densed can be used. The Frutiger typeface must be purchased for use. Since these fonts cannot be viewed on all computers, they should only be used for print work or situations where the viewed fonts can be controlled.

VerdanaVerdana is a universal font for all internet us-ers. The font reflects the feel of Frutiger very closely and can be used as the primary font in electronic text. Do not use both Frutiger and Verdana in the same document.

Debra Jason

Debra has been working in Sydney, Australia as a Brand Consultant/Designer since 2000. During this time she has worked on programs for clients such as ZUJI, Foster’s Group, Compaq Computer Corporation, Tradelink, Char-tered Accountants, Fuji Xerox and Sydney Olympic Park. Prior to arriving in Australia, Debra worked in London for 10 years focusing on corporate brand identity, implementation and annual reports. Clients included Heathrow Ex-press, Bluewater (Lend Lease) and AXA.
