Specifically: We would like to have a full breakdown of all FTE for Pukenga Atawhai over the past 10 years and their placements within the CDHB and the current situation of FTEs and placements. Pukenga Atawhai are funded using clinical FTE resource. This has changed over time and sometimes year on year. Every FTE – clinical and non-clinical, is reviewed when a vacancy comes up to ensure we are considering the wider needs of a team, cluster, divisional and professional groups. We do not necessarily replace like with like. Over the last ten years, services have been reconfigured in a number of ways which impacts on the way FTE’s and associated expenses are tracked. These include accounting practices and software changes, as well as management system changes. Please refer to the following Appendices (1-11) for information, we are able to provide, as requested over the past ten years. Note: The information provided required substantial manual collation.
