Dear customers and friends,As usual in recent years, these days we attend the presentation of our corporate memory. Through it, we review the most relevant events for Tvitec in 2018. Our activity has been intense and this is reflected in a new historic increase of the company’s turnover, which has risen to 123.5 million euros, with an Ebitda of 24%.
Our main factory has met its planned targets. That is to say, it continued to materialize and develop the investments to reach the highest levels of speed and quality demanded by the markets, towards which our high-performance glass products are directed. We can say that we have progressed in this regard thanks to the investment effort made. We have built a very solid foundation to be able to guarantee that, within 2019, a very clear progress will be reported in our quality and service levels. Without a doubt, we will celebrate with all of you the results of those investments executed in 2018.
Our commitment to innovation and research has also crystallized with the emergence of a product that was successfully launched in the exhibition of Veteco 2018 held in Madrid. It is called ROCALUX and it is aimed at the facade and interior market. At the exhibition, we noticed that this product aroused exceptional interest among the visitors of our stand. Rocalux is a digital screen-printing that, placed on the front of a previously treated glass, gives the same sensations to the eye and the touch as any natural stone. It is a solution that brings all the advantages of architectural glass; a versatile, clean and light product ... This way the problems of using natural stone — in terms of price, treatment, weight and placement system — are solved. And what is even more relevant, from the environmental point of view, Rocalux is a recyclable product.
Ultimately, I am pleased to inform our group of clients that, thanks to our financial capacity, we have a new curved glass factory that was completed in May of this year. Gone are the 16 months of intensive work and €20 million investment to be able to say that our curved glass plant is already in operation. These achievements, along with the training of our human and professional team, will keep Tvitec at the international forefront of the comprehensive transformation of high-performance glass in the building of the present and the future.

Tvitec ended 2018 with a solid performance in terms of turnover. We invoiced
123.5 MILLION euros, reaching for eleventh consecutive year a continuing growth trajectory in sales. Our export rates became, once again, the key point in this sustainable growth. Apart from, letting us hold an absolute leadership in Spain.
In line with this trend, we continue to generate wealth and employment. Currently, our staff is made up of around 500 workers.
The outlook for leading indicators in 2019 is also positive with a significant volume of contracted portfolio projects, especially within the international sphere.

TVITEC DURITEC
It is a simple glass pane subjected to a process of heat, tempered or quenched + HST, which increases its thermal and mechanical resistance. Tempered glass will transform into a product that can be considered as safety glass, since in case of breakage, its fragments will be harmless.
As for the dimensions, Tvitec could produce this type of glass in a thickness of between 4 and 19 mm, with a length of up to 12 meters. In addition, these products have the highest rating of EU 1 (C) 1 according to EN 12600 standard “Glass in building - Pendulum test - Impact test method and classif ication for f lat glass.”

W E A R E S P E C I A L
All the architectural glass products manufactured by Tvitec are special. They are glazing solutions which adjust exclusively to each project. Due to their features, shape, size and aesthetics.
Nevertheless, apart from this range of safety and sound proof simple units, screen printed and insulating glass in double and triple glazing, we also meet the most specif ic and demanding requirements of architects, constructors or companies specialized in facades and enclosures. Being always able to manufacture large pieces of up to 12 meters.
S I M P L E U N I T S
TVITEC LAMISTAR
Safety glass made up of two or more pieces of glass joined by a sheet or intermediate layer. Laminated glass could be manufactured with annealed basic panels or “Duritec” to get the required safety and mechanical characteristics. In case of breakage of one or several panes, fragments will remain attached to the intermediate layer. In addition, this solution reduces ultraviolet rays and can incorporate color sheets to achieve a specific aesthetic result.

Tvitec ’s technological equipment allows the manufacture of large formats to contribute to the execution of projects of continuous facades, without divisions of metallic carpentry and large panoramas, while adapting to the new architectural trends and iconic design. Tvitec is able to manufacture up to 12 meters for almost any kind of process. Both in the case of laminated and tempered glass as well as double and triple glazing and screen printing glass.In addition, Tvitec provides the necessary and specif ic technical support to def ine the appropriate thickness according to the par ticularities of each project.
Glass with colored paints vitrif ied on a sur face and applied with conventional screen printing or digital processing. Through a fur ther thermal process, resistance, durabilit y and color stabilit y are achieved. Thus, quality is warranted over a long period of time. All t ype of images can be screen-printed. Digital printing is available for pieces up to 12,000 mm x 3,200 mm. The new VitroJet Kinetic Side Printing technology of fers extreme accuracy in the def inition of shades and colors. It is capable of printing more than 12 square meters per hour.

ISOLAR NEUTRALUX
It is an insulating glass unit (IGU) with a low emissivity coating that can reduce the exchange of energy. Thus, we guarantee a suitable level of comfort inside the building. The maximum insulation coef f icient is equivalent to that of a brick wall with an energy reduction of up to 70% compared to traditional glass.
Through a mixture of intelligent compositions and coatings it is possible to achieve a high percentage of light and thermal per formance that will allow to satisf y all the clients´needs. Tvitec could produce this pane in a thickness of between 3 and 12 mm, with a length of up to 12 meters.

DOUBLE AND TRIPLE GLAZING
TVITEC manufactures Insulating Glass Units under the brand name “ISOLAR” in accordance with the most important international norms and standards. Double and triple glazing units are available up to 12,000 x 3210 mm and of fer the possibility of integrating smart layer coatings in the glass to meet the current market needs of energy ef f iciency and energy saving.

It is an insulating glass with solar control coating which benef its building temperature control and contributes to energy saving and construction sustainabilit y. There is a large number of combinations and solutions available through our cutting-edge processing techniques.
ISOLAR AKUSTEX
From an acoustical standpoint, insulating glass units could also provide high performance solutions to soundproof any residential building or off ice from outside noise. These soundproofing properties can be added to the ones of Neutralux and Solarlux units.

of high performance glass for the new Google
headquarters in Mountain View, Cal i fornia.
The headquarters of the technological g iant
is designed by two of the most prest ig ious
architecture studios in the world, BIG and
Adamson Associates.
The pieces of insulat ing glass show a very
unique digita l screen print ing for Google,
di f ferent shapes, and large units . Glasses
incorporate very special and f ine processes of
tempering and laminat ion to ensure maximum
safety and soundproof ing.
In addit ion, they combine special coat ings to
reach the maximum brightness, take advantage
of dayl ight and obtain energy eff ic iency.

At Tvitec, we are concerned about trying to turn economic wealth into the most disadvantaged social groups. Throughout the year we carry out actions (CSR) to support charities such as food banks or organizations that seek the integration of marginalized people.
Our employees take part in donation campaigns or sports events aimed at raising funds for those most disadvantaged people.
