All’interno del policlinico si fondono centri specializzati per la cura dei tumori, delle malattie cardiovascolari, neurologiche, ortopediche, autoimmuni e infiammatorie, oltre a un Centro Oculistico e a un Fertility Center. Humanitas è inoltre dotato di un Pronto Soccorso EAS ad elevata specializzazione. La nostra storiaOur history
Progettazione e realizzazione di Humanitas sono assegnate a Techint sulla base del progetto dell’architetto James Gowan.
Ultimata la costruzione dell’ospedale: il 4 marzo 1996 Humanitas apre le porte e accoglie il primo paziente.
Entra in vigore la convenzione con il Servizio Sanitario Nazionale per i servizi di ricovero.
Nasce la Fondazione Humanitas con lo scopo di aiutare il paziente e chi lo assiste dal punto di vista pratico e psicologico.
Humanitas diviene sede di insegnamento dell’Università degli Studi di Milano per il corso di laurea in Infermieristica, seguito poi da Medicina e Biotecnologie.
Humanitas diventa case-study per il Master in Business Administration dell’Università di Harvard ed è il primo policlinico italiano a ottenere l’accreditamento di eccellenza da Joint Commission International, uno dei più importanti enti mondiali di certificazione della qualità ospedaliera.

Da Vinci, that represents the state of the art for surgery, thanks to high-definition and three-dimensional imagery, along with four robotic arms. Alongside Da Vinci is Senbance, a surgical robotics system, introduced for colorectal surgery for the first time worldwide. It is particularly innovative and uses tactile feedback. Furthermore, eye-tracking technology allows the camera to be guided by tracing the movements of the surgeon’s pupils.

Humanitas University è un Ateneo dedicato alle Life Sciences strettamente integrato con l’IRCCS Istituto Clinico Humanitas e caratterizzato dal respiro internazionale. La faculty è composta da medici e ricercatori noti a livello mondiale e la visiting faculty include Premi Nobel per la Medicina (Rolf Zinkernagel, Jules Hoffmann, Erwin Neher). L’Ateneo vuole preparare i propri studenti ad affrontare ogni percorso di carriera, nella clinica come nella ricerca, in Italia o all’estero.

Sul fronte della formazione post-lauream, ha ottenuto l’accreditamento di 13 scuole di specializzazione per gli indirizzi più importanti dopo la Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia, ed ha attivato corsi di perfezionamento in Epidemiologia per la ricerca clinica e in Cardio RM, diversi Master sia in Medicina sia in Infermieristica, oltre ad un PhD in Medicina molecolare e sperimentale.
Humanitas University is dedicated to the health sciences and is affiliated with the internationally well-known teaching hospital and research institute IRCCS Istituto Clinico Humanitas. il CampusIl campus di Humanitas University sorge a ridosso dell’ospedale: oltre 20 mila mq e 4 edifici dedicati a didattica, servizi per gli studenti, tra cui spazi per lo studio e aree dedicate allo sport, attività di ricerca e universitaria, residenze per studenti e ricercatori. Gli spazi, immersi nel verde del Parco Sud di Milano, sono concepiti secondo i più moderni standard in termini di tecnologia e comfort ambientale. Circa 2.000 mq sono destinati al Simulation Center, una struttura di ultima generazione dedicata alle esercitazioni pratiche, che ospita al suo interno sale operatorie, regie multimediali, ambulatori, sala per le emergenze, sale per i clinical e surgical skill, aula microscopi.
