• The TSPS consist of a high-level integration between

the Traffic Signal System and the Bus Management

System. It is software based and it will require

detection equipment to be installed in the streets

and/or the buses.

• The TSPS will configure the chosen junctions related to

the Bus Routes that cross them and will create a

reporting chain for all the possibilities.

• The TSPS will generate priority requests from the

Buses whose headway is longer than expected

(delayed buses).

• The TSPS will evaluate based on a priority system if

the buses receive the priority or not.

• There must be a reporting tool where the user can view

the different interactions between the Bus Management

System and the Traffic Signal System.

• The TSPS will have priorities pedestrian crossing

functionality.
