Later Years news

Head Start This week has seen our Year 11s undertake exams in all subjects. Congratulations to all for taking this seriously. Next week our current Year 10s and 11s embark on the Head Start program whereby students will be in their Year 11 and 12 2018 classes with their new teachers. If your child is planning on being absent during this week a parent/guardian must contact the College for attendance purposes. The student must also arrange with their 2018 teacher to collect required work that will be missed. However we encourage all to attend this week. Year 11s final day of school for 2017 is Friday 24th November.

Year 12 Graduation Year 12 will celebrate thirteen years of schooling next Friday at the Youth Club Hall. A jukebox has been booked for the evening to encourage all to stay and enjoy the night. BYO beverages.

Mrs Edwards requires Year 12 helpers (or parents) to set up the tables, chairs and decorate the hall from 1:30pm on Thursday 23rd November. The more assistance the quicker it will be done. Students are also required to assist in the pack up of this event.

What a day it was at Tough Mud Corryong 2017, a day that is fast becoming one of the highlight of the Corryong College

year. Over 150 students jumped, crawled, slid and climbed their way through over 20 obstacles to prove that they were tough

enough. This years event was once again designed and run by the students themselves, highlighting just what amazing

students we have. A big thank you to all those that assisted in providing equipment, support and funding to make this event

possible.

Tough Mud Corryong is a major student driven fundraiser for our school and this year we raised close to $3,000. This money,

along with the money raised from last years event will go towards upgrading one of our basketball courts. Again, a massive

thank you to all those families that donated money—student prizes will be ordered shortly and should arrive in the coming

weeks.
