Sunday 3rd June

• 1.20 pm onwards. Students to arrive at the clock tower.

• 2pm Depart for Gatwick Airport. • 6.10 pm depart Gatwick for Barcelona.• Arrive 9.15pm Spanish time and transfer

to Hotel in Tossa de Mar.• Packed evening meal/ snack.

Monday 4th JuneGirona

• Town walls, historic quarter, cathedral.

• Student language activities.

• Espai Gironès- shopping centre

Tuesday 5th Port Aventura

• One of Europe’s most visited theme parks.

• 7 themed areas.

• Shambala- the highest rollercoaster in Europe opened this month.

Wednesday 6th

Barcelona• Barri Gótico

• La Boqueria

• Las Ramblas

• Sagrada Familia

• Parc Güell

Thursday 7th

Tossa de Mar• Local Corpus Cristi

Festival and free time.

• Lunch in the hotel.

• Leave Tossa at 5.30 to transfer to BCN Airport

• Arrive at Gatwick at 11.15pm

• ETA Clock tower 1am

• Students in shared rooms of 3 and 4.

• Located in centre of Tossa close to the beach and the local attractions.

• Specialises in school trips.

Luggage

• There are no weight restrictions for the piece of hand luggage.

• It can measure a maximum of 56 x 45 x 25 cm (including wheels, pockets and handles).

• £28 if you would like hold luggage at the moment.

• £68 if purchased at the airport!

Suggested Kit list• Sun cream factor 30 or higher- if possible sunhat/ sunglasses.• Comfortable shoes and sandals/ flip flops.• A refillable water bottle. • Appropriate clothing: light clothing is recommended as it can get

quite warm at this time of the year, although there could be rain at any time. Therefore please include a sweatshirt and a light rain coat.

• Packed lunch/ evening meal for the journey to Gatwick airport.• Watch.• Bathroom essentials. (These must comply with the regulations

mentioned previously)• Medication.• NOTE: TOWELS are provided by the hotel.• NOTE: if students wish to bring electrical appliances (hair

strengtheners/ phone chargers) they will need an adaptor.

Spending money

• All meals provided, except Sunday/

• A maximum of €100.

• Given to teacher in 4 envelopes on the Sunday with student’s name clearly labelled and amount of money.

Behaviour and safety

• Good behaviour is of vital importance for the safety of individuals and the group.

• Students will be representing their school.

• Unacceptable behaviour could result in exclusion from further visits outside of school.

Organisation of Visits and Free Time

• Students must stay in groups of 3 MINIMUM at all times.• Students will be asked to register at regular points

during each day .• Students must meet at the times and at the places they

are asked to.

• Remote supervision – when we are out and about during the day, we will operate a system of remote supervision. Your daughter will be informed of a central point, at which a teacher will be present at all times.

Valuables

• Pick pockets Las Ramblas.

• If students bring personal stereos, MP3 players, mobiles or cameras for example, they do so at their own risk. All valuables are the responsibility of the student and are brought at their own risk.
