Translucent and dazzling, exquisite and
innovative, the interiors of Costa Luminosa
reflect the magic of light. A ship with a thousand
different facets whose splendour is brought
out by the remarkable illumination, with 3,100
metres of LED lighting to emphasise the beauty
of its sophisticated interiors and 120 chandeliers
with Murano glass pendants that sparkle in
the Supernova Atrium, the perfect setting for
Botero’s “Donna Sdraiata 2004”.

Guests on Costa Luminosa will find every

A totally original take on art.
Costa Luminosa has a wealth of extraordinary
original works of art on board, by contemporary
maestros who have interpreted light and shade
in their own inimitable way, creating some
spectacular displays. A fine example is “Donna
Sdraiata”, the incredible, monumental sculpture
by the famous Colombian artist Fernando Botero
that welcomes Guests in the Supernova Atrium.
Works by artists who use different techniques and
styles such as Mario Donizetti, Silvano Girardello,
Elisa Rossi and Flavio Lucchini adorn all the
public areas of the ship. This splendid “floating
gallery” comprises 288 original works of art by
internationally famous and up-and-coming artists,
and no less than 4,733 reproductions.

Teatro Phoenix
A thousand lights illuminate Costa Luminosa at
night: take the bright and graceful Supernova
Atrium, for example, with its glass lifts and
precious Murano chandeliers – the perfect place
to meet up at the start of the evening. The three-
deck high Phoenix Theatre is dotted with more
than 14,000 LED lights that create different effects
depending on the show being performed, and
the sound is all in top-quality Dolby Surround.
The Altair Disco features magical lasers and high
definition screens, as Guests dance the night away,
or just sip on a cocktail and watch the action.

Delphinus Lido
Costa Luminosa offers the most innovative
entertainment: the adrenalin rush of a Grand Prix
Simulator, for the thrill of driving a racing car on
the most spectacular racetracks, an 18-hole Golf
Simulator, inspired by the 37 most famous golf
courses in the world, and a Putting Green on the
Giada deck, to get some practice out in the open.
There’s also an outdoor multipurpose sports
pitch where Guests can play basketball, tennis or
volleyball, panoramic jogging and roller skating
tracks, and a gym with fitness courses. People
who prefer relaxing under the sun can slip into the
jacuzzis on the Delphinus Lido, or spend a fun
afternoon on the Dorado Lido, with an 18-m2 mega-
screen and retractable glass roof so that you can
enjoy the pool in any season, whatever the weather.

A cruise on Costa Luminosa means the youngest
Guests can be free to have fun in total safety too!
The littlest ones can have fun all day with their
friends and Squok Club entertainment staff playing
games and swimming in the pool, or they can take

Costa Luminosa has no less than 772 cabins
with even larger balconies out of a total of 1,130.
All cabins have an en-suite bathroom with
shower, individual air conditioning, interactive
satellite TV that guests can use to book on-
board services and enjoy pay films on demand
(for a charge), satellite telephone, minibar, safe
and hairdryer. Costa staff are of course always
available for any request. Breakfast can be
served in the cabin and room service is available
24 hours a day.
For those who like more space, a jacuzzi, a
personal butler, priority embarkation and a
choice of seating at the restaurant, as well as
the opportunity of lunching and dining in the
cabin and other sophisticated comforts, there
are a variety of Suites available.
