A file has been settled / final order received - a bill needs preparing within 3months.
Get everything together – full file of papers, all pleadings, all disbursementvouchers, time print and ledger print out.
The bill is drafted, returned for checking then served on the paying party.
If negotiations fail and settlement is not achieved then points of dispute andreplies will be prepared and the matter will be prepared for assessment.
Receiving Party
Paying PartyIf you have a cost order against you and Once the schedule or bill of costs isreceived - It needs to be sent to us as soon as possible as there is the 21 daytime limit on points of dispute for a formal bill of costs.
Once the bill and full file of papers is received these will be reviewed andoffers to be made will be discussed with you.
