THE COTARELLA

FAMILY RICCARDO AND RENZOPrior to the 3rd generation of the Cotarella women

taking over the winery, brothers Riccardo and

Renzo Cotarella helped build the Falesco name into

the iconic symbol it is today. Riccardo Cotarella

was cited as, “…One of the most influential people

in the world of wine” in the distinguished magazine

Wine Advocate, by Robert Parker.

DOMINGA COTARELLAThe daughter of Riccardo and Maria Teresa

Cotarella, cousin of Marta and Enrica, whose

roots were born in Orvieto. Her studies started

in language during high school and evolved into

Agriculture as her interest in her family’s business

grew. Starting at the young age of 16, she was

responsible for the winery’s PR initiative. Then,

after graduating from the University of Tuscia, with

a focus on Agriculture science, she left the family

business and trained at Antinori for a few years. In

2017, Dominga along with her cousins, took over

the helm of the winery as the next generation.

MARTA COTARELLA Born and raised in Orvieto, the daughter of Renzo

and Angela Cotarella and cousin of Dominga and

sister of Enrica Cotarellaz. After high school, she

graduated with a degree in Economics from the

University of Florence. Before joining the family

winery, Marta started as an Auditor for Ernst &

Young in Florence. After joining the Register of

Accountants and Auditors Doctors, she started

working at the family winery and is now part of

the next generation of ownership with her sister

and cousin.

ENRICA COTARELLAThe younger daughter of Renzo and Angela

Cotarella and sister to Marta, whose roots were

born in Orvieto as well. After completing her

studies in high school focusing on the sciences,

she attended the University of Tuscia with a degree

in Technical Communication and Web Economy.

Enrica then went on to receive her masters in

Strategic Communications at the University of

Florence. During her graduate coursework, Enrica

worked at Antinori in Operational Marketing. After

her studies, she returned to the family’s business

and in 2017 along with her sister and cousin, took

over as the next generation.
