Our popular range of cottages are the perfect solution for first homebuyers, or clients who are looking to add minor dwellings or rental accommodation to their property. They also make for an ideal holiday home at the beach. Ranging from a cosy one-bedroom, through to a spacious four-bedroom for the whole family, all our floor plans are able to be customised to your particular site, living requirements and budget.

A sleepout makes for a handy and flexible space. Used as a home office, studio, hobby room, music room or extra bedroom for teens, they can also double as rental accommodation.
We have a selection of standard plans or can customise to suit. Ideal for both urban or rural sites, sleepouts can be modified to include bathroom and storage areas.

Roof pitch: Choose from either a gable or monopitch roof design. Gable roof options start at 15 degrees with higher pitches available to match your existing buildings. A monopitch is available with an 8-degree pitch.
Garaport: Extend your garage space front or side with a handy Garaport – a useful space for storing that extra vehicle, trailer or caravan.

Superior Quality Garage DoorsAll Ideal buildings are fitted with a top-quality roller or sectional door maximising strength, security and good looks. Choose from a wide range of profiles in an extensive colour range.
Quality Frames and TrussesAll Ideal Buildings are constructed with high-strength, kiln-dried Laserframe structural timber. Frames and trusses are all H1.2 boric treated and have at least one row of nogs/dwangs in all models. We only use gang-nail trusses in our buildings, designed by MiTek New Zealand, one of the world’s leading suppliers of timber connectors.
