“Negotiated curriculum is in many ways similar to emergent curriculum as educators inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach perceive the curriculum as emerging from the interests and ideas of children, but they also believe that there should be negotiation between all those involved in the development of the curriculum - in planning and in the projects as they unfold. This perspective of the curriculum is based on the theory that children co-construct knowledge within their social group. “
