BACKGROUND
Summit County Public Health has been serving those in the community suffering from the disease of addiction for the past 25 years. Funded by the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board of Summit County, our independently licensed staff is committed to working as a team in providing effective, equitable, understandable and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural health beliefs and practices, preferred languages, health literacy and other communication needs.
SERVICES OFFEREDWe offer the following services to adults and adolescents:
• Walk in appointments
• Diagnostic assessment
• Intensive outpatient treatment
• Adolescent treatment services
• Aftercare
• Individual counseling
• Alcohol, tobacco and other prevention education programs
• Trauma informed therapy
• Crisis intervention
• Urinalysis drug screenings
• Care coordination
• Strength based case management
• Motivational interviewing
• Cognitive behavioral therapy
• Confidential HIV/Hepatitis C testing and education
• No one will be denied services for an inability to pay
• Program costs are based on a sliding fee scale
• Medicaid and private insurances are accepted
• Day and evening hours to accommodate varied schedules
