Thank you, Mrs. Lopez for organizing programs and lessons to help students build character traits for a lifetime. Literacy Picnic Lunch Schedule: 10:45-11:45--- 3 rd & 4 th Grade 11:30-12:30--- Pre K & Kinder 12:15-1:15--- 1 st & 2 nd Grade Please plan to join us for the Literacy Picnic. Come and have lunch with your child and share a story together. Each student will receive a book they can take home. Please watch for notes going home regarding this event. We hope to see you there! Make sure your child has enough sleep the night before the test. Ensure your child has a healthy breakfast. Be sure to get your child to school on time. . Volunteer Day with decorating doors for Dr. Suess Week and
for working with our students. Your help is greatly appreciated!
3rd Graders enjoyed a trip to
the Center for Arts and
Sciences to study the Solar
System and the relationship of
the planets to the sun. They
also had the opportunity to pay
attention to details by
recreating some of the artwork
there.
Volunteer Day

who could read the most minutes.

We would like to thank Tim Camerano from Barnhill Preserve
for visiting our campus and bringing some very interesting
friends with him. He brought Henry the Eurasian Eagle Owl,
Mocha- the Silkie Chicken, Red-the Bearded Dragon,
Checkers-the Milk Snake, Lucia- two toed adult sloth and
Gypsy the Sulfer Crested Cockatoo. The program was very
informative and the optional pictures were a lot of fun!

All 3rd and 4th Grade Eagles are invited to participate in our All
STAAR Saturday tutorials program. Each Saturday our teachers
will be reinforcing the skills students are learning in the classroom.
We look forward to seeing your students there.

Time: 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
There will be pizza & prizes each Saturday.
Parents please be sure your children are picked up at 12:15 p.m.
Permission slips will be sent home.
Please call your child’s teacher if you have questions.
