In the first of a trilogy of repots, we profile five of these startups. 1) ShopperKit is a software platform that enables existing brick-and-mortar stores to receive, prioritize and process online grocery orders. Since launching in 2016, Shopperkit has been working with four major retailers, and expects to be in over 200 stores in the next 12 months. 2) Everywear is a software solution for retailers’ and brands’ e-commerce websites that personalizes the user’s browsing and purchasing experience. To date, the company has signed contracts with Bloomingdale’s and Coty, and is in discussions with a number of other large industry players. 3) Obsess VR is a virtual reality shopping platform for fashion brands and retailers. The company partnered with Samsung and New York Fashion week to create VR fashion shows. 4) Busker is a livestream platform that allows anyone to showcase a talent or share a product they love. Viewers can post comments and questions to interact with the hosts in real-time. 5) TigerTrade is an online B2B wholesale marketplace for buying and selling excess inventory.
