Gluttony The quality of character which inclines one to ex-cess in eating and drinking.

Insatiableness The quality of character which inclines one to haveexcessive desires that can never be satisfied.

Intemperance The quality of character which inclines one to lackself control and engage in habitual immoderation,especially in food or drink.

Ravenousness The quality of character which inclines one to ea-gerly pursue food, satisfaction, or gratification.

Narcissism The quality of character in which there is exces-sive self-love or an excessive interest in one’s ownappearance, comfort, or importance.

Self-indulgence The quality of character which habitually yields toone’s own desires or passions with little thoughtof the cost or effect upon others.

Voraciousness The quality of character which has an insatiableappetite for food or for other things.

Chesed of Chesed Virtues

Affectionateness The quality of character inclining one to have anddemonstrably express feelings of love or warm at-tachment to another.

Compassionateness The quality of character inclining one to feel andexpress a deep sympathy and sorrow for anotherwho is stricken by suffering or misfortune and si-multaneously to have a desire to help, spare, oralleviate the pain and suffering by removing itscause.

Goodness The quality of character inclining one to have moralexcellence and virtue.

Graciousness The quality of character inclining one to show fa-vor, kindness, love, and benevolence in a comfort-able and easy way.

Humaneness The quality of character inclining one to feel andexpress the nobler, warmer, gentler aspects of be-ing human.

Kindheartedness The quality of character inclining one to have agood benevolent nature, consistently being helpfuland showing consideration for others.

Kindness The quality of character which inclines one to feel-ing warmth and expressing benevolence and con-siderateness to another.

Largeheartedness The quality of character which inclines one to begenerous or show generosity.

Lovability The quality of character which makes one worthyof love and thereby evokes love from others.

Lovingness The quality of character inclining one to have ten-der or passionate affection for another.

Motherliness The quality of character inclining one to care andprotect with tenderness and affection.

Sympathy The quality of character inclining one to feel har-mony or agreement with another person’s feelings,interests or distress.

Callousness The quality of character which is hardened in mindand insensitive in feeling.

Crassness The quality of character which inclines one to begross and unfeeling, thereby making the mind (1)incapable of the delicate mental processes of anal-ysis, discrimination, or evaluation or (2) impervi-ous to absorb impressions of refined or spiritualideas.

Insensitiveness The quality of character marked by not feeling andnot being responsive to the feelings of others.

Unaffectionateness The quality of character which inclines one to bewithout warm regard, warm feelings, tender at-tachment, love, or fondness.

Unsympatheticness The quality of character which inclines one to nothave a feeling for and deep tenderness for the suf-fering or distress of others, nor to have any friendlyinterest in others, nor to have agreement in tasteor opinion with others.

Gevurah of Chesed Virtues

Agreeability The quality of character inclining one to be will-ing or ready to agree or consent to another’s state-ment or position.

Cooperativeness The quality of character inclining one to be willingand able to work well with others.

Heedlessness The quality of character which inclines one to be-havior which is inattentive, inconsiderate, and thought-less.

Inconsiderateness The quality of character which inclines one to be-havior which is careless of the rights and feelingsof others; thoughtless.

Thoughtlessness The quality of character which inclines one to un-mindful behavior showing lacking of thought andcare.

Tiferet of Chesed Virtues

Affableness The quality of character inclining one to be easyto talk or relate to; being friendly, cordial, andwarmly polite.

Amiability The quality of character inclining one to have orshow agreeable, kind, pleasant, friendly, and socialqualities.

Charmingness The quality of character inclining one to be pleas-ing or attracting by personality, beauty, or gra-ciousness.

Congeniality The quality of character inclining one to be agree-able or pleasing in nature or character.

Delightfulness The quality of character inclining one to be able tomake another feel enjoyment and keen and livelypleasure.

Boorishness The quality of character which is rude, ill-mannered,and crudely insensitive.

Coarseness The quality of action which is crude and unrefinedin taste, manner, or language.

Crudeness The quality of character marked by a lack of re-finement and tact; uncultivated simplicity.

Discourteousness The quality of character inclining one to behaviorwhich is rude and lacking in courteousy.

Impoliteness The quality of character inclining one to behav-ior marked by discourtesy, crudeness, rudeness, orlack of consideration, tact, or deference.

Incivility The quality of character inclining one to behaviormarked by rudeness, impoliteness, and discour-tesy.

Tactlessness The quality of character which lacks a keen senseof what to do or say in order to maintain goodrelations or to avoid offending others.

Vulgarity The quality of character which inclines one to en-gage in coarse conduct or speech which is offensiveto good taste or sensitive feelings.

Civility The quality of character inclining one to adhereto the minimal norms of polite social intercourse.

Cordiality The quality of being courteous, gracious, warm,and friendly.

Courteousness The quality of character which inclines one to be-havior which is thoughtful for the feelings of othersand is more considerate and dignified than polite-ness.

Politeness The quality of behavior marked by being habit-ually thoughtful for the feelings of others and byacting in a way consistent with the norms of cour-tesy in social intercourse.

Fastidiousness The quality of character marked by having such asensitive and meticulous taste that there is diffi-culty of being pleased or satisfied by the ordinary.

Thanklessness The quality of character which inclines one to notexpress appreciation or gratitude for that whichhas been done for one or for that which is givento one.

Unappreciativeness The quality of character which inclines one to notbe sensitively aware of, to not esteem adequatelyor perceive distinctly that which others have donefor one.

Ungratefulness The quality of character which inclines one to notfeel pleasure, contentment, and appreciation forthat which has been done for one or for that whichhas been given to one.

Hod of Chesed Virtues

Appreciativeness The quality of character inclining one to feel andshow gratitude for the worth of something; mani-festing wise judgement or keen insight in estimat-ing and acknowledging the worth of something.

Gratefulness The quality of character inclining one to have awarm or deep appreciation of personal kindnessesshown to one.

Polishedness The quality of character inclining one to be re-fined, cultured, near flawless, and elegant.

Alienation The quality or state of being in which one haswithdrawn affection or love from situations in whichit had existed, thereby making oneself indifferent.

Aloofness That quality of character which keeps one removed,at a distance, and not involved.

Apathy The quality of character inclining one to be in astate of being without feeling or emotion.

Indifference The quality of character which inclines one to haveno concern for or to have a lack of interest or feel-ing in that with which or with whom one comesin contact.

Yesod of Chesed VirtuesCarefulness The quality of character inclining one to be con-

cerned, cautious, exact, thorough and accurate inall that one does.

Considerateness The quality of character inclining one to have con-cern for the feelings of others; being thoughtful inpreventing pain or in relieving pain, suffering, ordistress in another.

Regardfulness The quality of character inclining one to be ob-servant, attentive, and heedful, especially for thefeelings of others.

Thoughtfulness The quality of character inclining one to thinkconcentratedly, applying oneself to a careful andserious consideration of the issue and having un-selfish concern for others and anticipating theirneeds.

Unaccomodativeness The quality of character which inclines one to notadapt, adjust, compromise, conform, or oblige foranother.

Uncharitableness The quality of character which inclines one to nothelp or show good will to those in need.

Unfriendliness That quality of character which inclines one to notshow kind regard to another person.

Ungeniality That quality of character which inclines one tonot show kindness, warmth, friendly dispositionor cheerfulness to another person.

Unkindness The quality of character which inclines one to notshow good will, favorable acts, or benevolence toanother person.

Unpleasantness The quality of character which inclines one to benot disposed, ready, or desirous to give pleasureor joy to another.

Malchut of Chesed

Benevolence The quality of character inclining one to habitu-ally do good deeds or acts of kindness and chari-tableness to others.

Charitableness The quality of character inclining one to gener-ously give gifts or engage in acts of service to re-lieve the needs of the indigent or otherwise op-pressed, needy or helpless persons.

Coldness The quality of character which inclines one to lackwarm feeling toward another thereby hinderingthe possibility of being close to the other person.

Hardheartedness The quality of character marked by lack of feeling,unsympathetic understanding and pitilessness.

Heartlessness The quality of character which inclines one to actcruelly without sympathy or affection. This pushesaway the othe person.

Inclemency The quality of character which is marked by harsh-ness, severeness, and rigor, particularly in judgingand punishing inappropriate behavior.

Mercilessness The quality of character which inclines one to nottreat an offender with less severity than he de-serves or which inclines one to behave with harsh-ness or cruelness to those in one’s power.

Pitilessness The quality of character which inclines one to feelno grief or pain or compassion upon seeing themisfortunes and sorrows of others.

Relentlessness The quality of character which inclines one to beso obdurate in the pursuit of one’s aims that thereis no pity, compassion, or sympathy to restrainone’s pursuit, or restrain the violence of one’s rage,hatred, hostility, or vengeance.

Ruthlessness The quality of character which inclines one to haveno compassion for the misery of others and to beunrestrained by pity.

Severity The quality of character which inclines one to bestrict and strenuously exact: to be strict in con-formity to truth and law, to be harsh or cruel indisposition, unsparing in treatment, or rigorous inoperation.

Strictness The quality of character which inclines one to rigidlyobserve and exactly enforce rules.

Unforgivingness The quality of character which inclines one to notforget, pardon, and absolve the injustices done toone by another.

Chesed of Gevurah Virtues

Clemency The quality of character inclining one to not toexercise full judgment of punishment, thereby per-mitting a degree of mercy and relief for those whoby rule, custom, or law deserve punishment.

Forgivingness The quality of character inclining one to grant freepardon, without resentment, for an offense done toone by another.

Magnanimousness The quality of character inclining one to forgive aninsult or injury generously, without resentment orvindictiveness.

Mercifulness The quality of character which inclines one to treatan offender with less severity than he deserves orwhich inclines one to behave with kindness andunderstanding to those in one’s power.

Angriness The quality of character which inclines one to anemotional feeling of strong displeasure against theperson who provoked the displeasure.

Crankiness The quality of character marked by being easilyupset and showing ill-temper when in situationsin which there is some opposition.

Crossness The quality of character marked by transitory badtemper.

Fretfulness The quality of character inclining one to be easilyagitated, irritated, and impatient thereby causingemotional strain to those nearby.

Fury A rage of such intensity that the explosive destruc-tive emotional outburst verges on madness.

Impatience The quality of being easily annoyed, short of tem-per, uneasy or fretful because of an experienceddelay, restraint, or opposition; not being able toendure or tolerate something encountered withoutquickly getting irritated. With impatience, we donot give the other the gift of time.

Indignation A righteous anger; an anger aroused against an-other person whose behavior is interpreted as meanshameful or otherwise unworthy.

Irritability The quality of character which is marked by beingeasily annoyed or exasperated, easily excited toanger, or quickly becoming impatient.

Rage An intense anger, a violent boiling over of feeling,in which there is some loss of self control and adesire for revenge.

Wrathfulness The quality of anger which seeks to avenge a grievanceor punish the other.

Gevurah of Gevurah Virtues

Endurance The quality of character inclining one to have strengthand persistent courage to calmly bear trial andhardship.

Fortitude The quality of character inclining one to have strength,moral endurance, patience and courage even underconditions of pain, privation, affliction, or temp-tation.

Perserverance The quality of character inclining one to be reso-lute, consistent, and steady in a course of actionor purpose.

Persistence The quality of character inclining one to firmlycontinue an action despite steady and longstand-ing opposition.

Steadfastness The quality of character inclining one to be firmin belief, decision, determination, or adherence.

Tenacity The quality of character inclining one to be able tohold fast, retain, or keep a firm hold on things orsituations such as one’s course of action, opinions,or rights.

Aggressiveness The quality of character which is forceful and triesto dominate or master by assertive, hostile, inju-rious, or destructive action.

Autocraticness The quality of character which dominates anotherin an unrestricted and irresponsible way.

Coerciveness The quality of character which tends to restrainor dominate another person’s free choice or actionby threat or force.

Dictatorialness The quality of character which is arrogantly, op-pressively, and contemptuously domineering andoverbearing toward others.

Domination That quality of character which inclines one todesire and tend to control another.

Manipulativeness The quality of character which manages and con-trols another by shrewd use of influence or in waysthat are unfair or fraudulent.

Oppressiveness The quality of character marked by being unrea-sonably burdensome or severe.

Sadism The quality of character which gets pleasure frommistreating or hurting another.

Tyrannicalness The quality of character which dominates anotherin an absolute, unjust, oppressive, cruel and arbi-trary manner.

Tiferet of Gevurah Virtues

Gentleness The quality of character inclining one to act in akind, mild, refined, and polite manner, with com-plete absence of any kind of harshness or rough-ness.

Gracefulness The quality of consistent elegance or beauty inform, manner, movement, or speech with gentleactions having proper propriety.

Mildness The quality of character inclining one to be gentlein nature and behavior.

Bitterness The emotional quality of character which feels se-vere resentment, pain, grief, or regret.

Disappointment The state in which one fails to meet the expecta-tion or hope that one has.

Frustration A state of dissatisfaction resulting from unresolvedproblems or unfulfilled needs; a state brought aboutby something coming between an aim or desireand its fulfillment.

Mournfulness The quality of character which inclines one to feelsorrow or grief about what one has done or aboutone’s state of affairs.

Regretfulness The quality of character which inclines one to feelgrief, disappointment, or remorse about what onehas done.

Remorsefulness The quality of character which inclines one to feela gnawing distress arising from a sense of guiltabout past wrong doings.

Resentment The quality of character which inclines one to feelindignant displeasure or persistent ill will towardsomeone regarded as having done one a wrong, orhaving given one an insult or injury.

Self-pity The quality of character which inclines one to aself-indulgent dwelling on one’s own sorrows ormisfortunes.

Netzach of Gevurah Virtues

Discreetness The quality of character inclining one to be ju-dicious in one’s speech or action so that from itsbasis no one can infer, come to know, or be re-minded of that which might be of a delicate or anembarrasing nature to anyone.

Moderateness The quality of character inclining one to observereasonable limits and not engage in extremes ofbehavior or expression.

Temperance The quality of character inclining one to exertmoderation and self restraint in an action or state-ment; demonstrating habitual moderation in theindulgence of a natural appetite or passion.

Abruptness The quality of character which is sudden and shortin behaviour or speech; unceremoniously curt.

Acrimoniousness A quality of character which inclines one to uselanguage which expresses a stinging blistering bit-terness and ill will.

Harshness The quality of character which causes personalinteractions to be severe, disagreeable, irritating,and lacking in refinement.

Obnoxiousness Behavior which is disgustingly objectionable andhighly offensive.

Offensiveness Behavior which is displeasing and annoying, caus-ing displeasure and resentment.

Rudeness The quality of character inclining one to behaviorwhich is offensive in manner or action, to behaviorwhich is lacking in refinement or delicacy.

Hod of Gevurah Virtues

Forbearance The quality of character inclining one to be ableto endure and refrain from negatively reacting tooffensiveness of any kind.

Patience The quality of character inclining one to suppressrestlessness or annoyance while waiting for some-one to finish doing what they have to do; beingable to bear provocation, annoyance, misfortune,or pain without complaint or loss of temper.

Anguish A state of being in which mental pain or stress sodominates the mind that there is little inclinationto pay attention to anything else or for that matterto do anything at all.

Depression A mental and emotional state filled with sadness,dejection, inactivity, and difficulty in thinking orconcentrating.

Gloominess The quality of character which inclines one to feela lowness in spirit and dejection; having little orno hopefulness.
