Request for Quotation

1. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Country office Pakistan (UNODC) hereby requests your company’s quotation for the item(s) specified in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).

2. We would appreciate receiving your quotation on or before 05 April 2015 by post (quotation by hand will not accepted). Your quotation must be valid for at least 45 days. All quotations will be reviewed by the UNODC in accordance with its financial rules and regulations as well as the Considerations contained herein.

3. Prices can be quoted in Pak Rupees and complete payment will be made within 30 days after delivery. You must therefore clearly specify in your quotation if our payment terms are acceptable.

4. Please note that the United Nations has tax and duty exemption status and can provide documentation for the same. Hence, your pricing should take this status into account and must not include GST or other tax/duties.

5. UNODC reserves the right to terminate the tender process without explanation the reason to the offerors. UNODC reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and to annul the solicitation process and reject all quotations at any time prior to award of contract without thereby incurring any liability to the affected offeror or any obligation to inform the affected offereor or offerors of the grounds for the Purchaser’s action. UNODC also reserves the right to increase or decrease quantity of the requested goods up to 25% without alteration price for per unit.

6. All quotations duly signed and stamped shall be submitted to the following address: in sealed envelopes via mail/express mail to the address below not later than 05 April 2015. Late bids will be rejected.

The size of the body is 8' X 5' , which can be further extended subject to the extension of the loading shaft

(Kamani in local language).

WARRANTY for the quoted equipment shall be not less than 12 months. 3. DOCUMENTATION. The supplier should provide a full set of documentation (manuals, packing lists, etc.)

1UNODC reserves the right not to award the contract to the lowest priced offer, if the second lowest price among the

responsive offer is found to be significantly more superior, and the price is higher than the lowest priced compliant offer

by not more than 10%, and the budget can sufficiently cover the price difference. The term “more superior” as used in

this provision shall refer to offers that have exceeded the pre-determined requirements established in the specifications. 2This shall be used for time-critical and/or exigentrequirements (e.g., post-crisis emergencies, elections, etc.).
