The Association’s contract with FirstService Residential does prescribe physical on-site management, and its staff is available to assist the Board and residents in the day to-day operations of the Association.

Should you notice problems with the facilities, deed violations in the neighborhood, and/or any other problems which may not necessarily be visible to FirstService Residential during its normal inspections of the community, please contact FirstService Residential at (713) 332-4675. A solid working relationship between the Association and FirstService Residential will sustain the maintenance of our community and keep administrative costs to a minimum.

Travel Club will meet May 10 at 2:00pm in the Lake View Lodge. Every resident of CountryPlace is welcome. Our club was designed to provide safe, convenient, and reasonable travel to our residents. Residents also provide information via surveys on where they would like to travel, then Ann, Gary and Sandy search for the best itinerary at the best price to present to all of you. We also provide group transportation from and to CountryPlace to make your trip worry free. Our travel insurance is also reasonable for our groups.

We will also be unveiling an exciting new trip you have been asking for several years. Yes, we will be going to RUSSIA on September 10, 2019. We have finally found a great ship with large cabins, an elevator, 2 dining rooms, and the amenities you expect as an American traveler including wine and WIFI. The price is all inclusive including excursions and local guide gratuities. We traveled to St. Petersburg a year ago; it was one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the world. On this trip we will spend 3 days in both Moscow and St. Petersburg and cruise the river between on the ms Rostropovich.

Please come to our May 10 meeting and learn all about this great opportunity. The limo will pick you up at your door and bring you back to CountryPlace on your return. You will have a once in a lifetime experience in RUSSIA with your CountryPlace friends.

WELL, I CAN ONLY SPEAK FOR MYSELF, BUT I AM FEELING QUITE MELANCOLY BECAUSE OUR SPRING CONCERT IS IN THE PAST, AND WE ARE BEGINNING A FOUR MONTH VACATION. I HOPE ALL THE SINGERS HAVE GREAT PLANS FOR OUR TIME OUT, BUT DON’T FORGET TO COME BACK IN SEPTEMBER.

IF IT WERE FALL INSTEAD OF SPRING, WE COULD GO INTO HIBERNATION FOR A REALLY LONG NAP.

HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU AND BON VOYAGE. WE WILL MEET AGAIN ON THE FIRST TUESDAY OF SEPTEMBER.

Tuesday Duplicate Bridge

The Tuesday Duplicate Bridge meets every Tuesday in the Social Hall at 12:15. We welcome Bridge players to join us. Duplicate Bridge is a partnership game, so you should have a partner or we can find a partner for you. If you have any questions, please call Thelma Chambley at 713-436-5798.

Groups play from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday afternoons at the Lake View Lodge. There is a group that plays up to six tables at Nedra Faulkner’s home on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

All are welcome. There’s a lot more room in the Lake View Lodge on Monday afternoons.
