Change the courses offered, but must use the blocks of times shown for their BoS

May work with other BoS to “swap” time slots General Education offerings should remain in time

blocks provided.  Courses offerings can be changed, but the GenEd categories cannot

a written justification from the BOS, approved by the Chair/Director and Dean, and submitted to the Registrar’s Office

The Spring ’10 grid assignments, used as the basis for the rollover, are unbalanced.  The goal is to correct the balance for Spring 2011 so that we can stop reviewing the allocations several times each scheduling period.

We need to view courses, including electives, as part of the curriculum, not tied to one or more faculty members.

Review and correct course offering sequences such as every fall or spring, every semester, every other fall or spring, etc.
