Our Autumn/Winter Brochure, still helping you

Work Smarter…... IT Turning Point is a training company with a difference. We are here for you and your needs. We are set up for the very purpose to help you change the way you operate and do things in such a way that your business or organisation will benefit for years to come. Our course offerings have been developed over years of dealing with clients who had very specific needs and concerns and we came to their rescue. Whether it’s IT Training, Management Training, CIPS qualifications or even hardware, Internet connection, we are your one stop shop. We work with various people within organisations, from training managers to engineering and production managers to help them Create Turning Points in what they do. This brochure shows you some of the courses we offer and lets you know we are here for you. At our first meeting, where we like to get to know what you do and how you operate, we will then hopefully become your training partner, so you can rely on us to deliver a standard of training and consultancy that means clients come back again and even tell associates about us and so the business spreads and training needs are delivered. We have been working with a range of new Associates who want to affiliate with us. Certification in Purchasing and Supply…...

Turning Points in

CIPS training The course provides an educational route for candidates working in purchasing and supply, who wish to gain a professional qualification using up-to-date study materials from the

Institute. Bespoke tuition will be delivered on site. This will take account of the need for employees, to minimise travelling to study centres, whilst receiving excellent tuition geared specifically towards each subject as they progress through their qualification.

What we offer and how We offer the levels of CIPS as described opposite, and cover all the topics

necessary for the candidate to feel they have tackled the course in a structured manner. The course is designed to cover the relevant topics prior to the main professional exams which take place in May and November of each year. The candidate will have the necessary material, and will work through topics in their own time as well and tutorials and workshops being provided. We try and deliver at client premises but we have the flexibility to offer other methods and the use of other facilities.

In addition to the skills, experience and qualifications required does the candidate have the behaviour characteristics required to be successful in this job and fit into the team and company culture?

2. Management

Knowing what motivates each member of staff, what their preferred com-munication style is and how they prefer to be managed can make it much easier to get improved performance from your staff.

3. Re-organisation These assessments can help you benchmark the posts in the organisation and determine what “good” looks like (high performance). You can then look at the profiles of staff against these. This will highlight areas where staff are perhaps in the wrong jobs or need further development. Knowing how staff work, what motivates them, what their preferred com-munication style and style of being managed is, can help you work out the best make up of teams for maximum productivity and minimum dis-putes.
