So many people open doors for us and embrace this chaotic disruption of everyday life – Féile wouldn’t happen without that – Go raibh maith agaibh.A new energy has overtaken our Parade this year, Ann Stack and her team have stepped up to replace the irreplaceable Sheila Kelliher. In a year of regeneration, we are also replacing our perennial soldier of sound, Morgan McCarthy! Míle buíochas díbh. We don’t have an Arts Centre so we’ve taken on the seafront, handball alleys, interpretative centres, gardens, hillsides, beaches, the Court House and abandoned spaces to bring you live theatre, new thinking, off-beat music, high art and high jinks. Recorded on a reel-to-reel tape machine, in Connemara, Colm returns to more traditional ways of creating art.
