With this, the Greater Gaborone region has effectively been placed under Lockdown/Extreme Social Distancing as of midnight on the 30th July 2020. In light of this decision taken by the Government, the Management of Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) wishes to inform its Stakeholders that the Head Office will be temporarily closed to its customers for the duration of the lockdown. The Francistown Office will however remain operational for business during the Greater Gaborone Lockdown. All staff based in the Head Office will be reporting for duty remotely. Staff will continue to assist its clients and carry out their duties within the boundaries/confines of their locations. The Centre remains committed in ensuring that it lives up to its value of being agile in line with its COVID-19 Response Plan and Business Continuity Strategy. We will continue to serve our Stakeholders with due care and diligence . With the recent spike in numbers, BITC Management wishes to request that all Batswana take heed of the COVID-19 Protocols now more than ever. Only we can help minimize infections and rampant spread of this disease. In our concerted efforts to maintain normality, BITC will continue to keep its channels of communication open. Our Social Media, Website platforms remain open for information sharing and receiving queries. Our staff are readily available on their emails and mobile phones.
