Quote 1

• “Coyotes make their dens in rocky crevices, logs, caves or the dens of other animals. They usually don't dig their own den. They will find an abandoned den of a badger or a fox and enlarge it. “ ( Durham 2012)

• This quote describes the type of homes that the coyote commonly lives in.

Quote 2

• “Coyotes are biologically able to reproduce with domestic dogs, although because of several barriers, they rarely do. For instance, both male and female coyotes are fertile for only a short time during the year. Also, young coydogs rarely survive because male domestic dogs that breed with female coyotes do not remain with her to assist with parental care. The offspring of a coyote/domestic dog mating are often infertile.” ( Connecticiut department of energy and environmental protection 2009)

• This quote describes the breeding habits and behavior, and some behavior of the coyote.

Reflection:

• I think this was a very good project, being that we got the choice to learn. Being you gave us many choices, it made doing the project very easy and fun. I got to do what I wanted to do. So for me, it was not even really an assignment.
