CPA statute allows for…”acquisition, creation, preservation and support of community housing…the community preservation committee shall recommend, whenever possible, the reuse of existing buildings or construction of new buildings on previously developed sites.”
Eligible Housing Activities
CPA community housing can serve households earning up to 100% of the area median income (HUD).
Projects that also serve a higher income level can use CPA funds in proportionate to percentage households served <100% AMI.
