You will a�end for at least 7 hours from 9am to 4:00pm at either of our campuses in Granville or Liverpool. You will work in small groups and individually and you will need to complete a series of assessments throughout the course, to be deemed competent. The assessments include, short answer and multiple choice, oral questioning and observation. Training runs regularly at both our venues: Granville every Monday and Saturday, 0900 to 1600 and Liverpool every Saturday 0900 to 1600. POTENTIAL JOB ROLES Poten�al job roles on comple�on of this program inlcude: ο Site Security Officer ο Site Traffic Control Officer ο Ability to access and work on construc�on sites na�onwide ο Ability to deliver goods and services to construc�on sites ο Ability to access sites both residential and commercial to conduct inspections, accompany clients and buyers This course provides the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) outcomes for induc�on to work safely in the construc�on industry and specifically on a construc�on site. This program is suitable for anybody in any industry who needs access to a construc�on site. Unless you complete this na�onal training program and gain the Construc�on Induc�on Card, you will find it very difficult to work or gain access to a construc�on site. The course will suit all construc�on and trade workers, civil construc�on workers, delivery drivers, site security officers and those who want to start a career in construc�on. You will gain a broad introduc�on into how to work safely on site. The course is fully accredited na�onally recognised training for which you will receive a Statement of A�ainment in the national unit of competency, CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry. COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS State and Territory licensing requirements apply to this course. NSW General Induction Training (GIT) cards issued after 1 January 2012 are recognised throughout Australia. SafeWork NSW recognises all Interstate GIT cards, provided they are not suspended, canceled or expired. If you hold an Interstate GIT you do not need to undertake GIT in NSW. 100 points of ID is required to a�end the training. You can ask our staff for a NSW SafeWork Evidence of Identity Sheet if you are unsure about identity requirements. The ID must be sighted prior to you commencing the program and must be originals. Exemptions apply for secondary school students, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and new entrants to the country under 6 weeks onshore. You must be at least 14 years of age. If under 18, a parent or guardian must sign your enrollment form to accept responsibility. You will also be required to pass a Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills assessment on-line, prior to completing enrollment. You must wear enclosed footwear at all �mes while training with us.

This course is a single Unit of Competency in CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construc�on Industry, for which you will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment. You will learn about the key dangers and poten�al hazards working in construc�on and how to minimise

the risk involved.

COURSE FEES$120 tuition fee.

All learning materials included, no addi�onal costs.

Cost includes issue of the SafeWork NSW Statement of Training for General Induc�on which you receive at the end of the days training if deemed competent. Also the competency card which will be posted to you within 30 days by SafeWork NSW. Your Statement of Training is valid for 60 days and this enables you to commence work on site before your card arrives.
