ABOUT US:CPM Engineering is a Manchester based electro-mechanical repair and maintenance service, specialising in complete care for your rotating electrical and mechanical assets. With our Repair, Replace, Manage and Maintain concept we offer everything from ad hoc repairs to complete maintenance solutions, ensuring that you get optimum performance from your equipment.

Our repair workshop is one of the largest in the UK and represents a three million pounds investment. It hosts our 15 tonne lifting facility and is manned 24/7 by our specialist engineers. OUR HISTORY:Established since 1987, CPM began its venture specialising in delivering repairs and electrical, mechanical and machining services to businesses throughout the North and the Midlands, of which we still pride ourselves on providing today.

REPAIR:We use best practice techniques to overhaul and refurbish your equipment, either from our own 15 tonne capacity workshop or on your site. We remove and install the equipment for you and use our extensive experience and expertise to repair your equipment to ISO9001 quality standards. An up to date trained workforce ensure reliability are built into all repairs.

REPLACE:If your product is beyond repair or an alternative delivers better performance, we offer a replacement of identical or modern equivalent equipment, and can build any modifications into a proposal. We’ve spent years’ using Root Cause Failure techniques to ascertain why machines fail, which is why we can offer replacements where perhaps manufacturers can’t. Our quotes always include alternatives because we never forget whose money we’re spending.

MANAGE:Our comprehensive management programmes are designed individually to our customers’ needs and we can share in the ‘risk and reward’. Available as fixed price or fixed term agreements, you get full technical support, comprehensive customer reports and step-by-step feedback, whilst we do the hard work. From asset tracking to spending and root cause failure analysis, we ensure less downtime, greater efficiency and ultimately, greater production profit for you. Our maintain services play an important part in our management programmes.

MAINTAIN:By deploying the correct technology for your assets

(Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound, Oil Analysis, Thermography, Laser Alignment etc.) we ensure they receive the correct

amount of maintenance at precisely the right time. We produce tailor-made Maintenance Strategies through FMEA/RCM studies

to increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Our on-site investigations are facilitated using a structured Root Cause

Analysis (RCA) methodology, to pinpoint the reason for failure and eliminate the cause. Ultimately, we optimise equipment uptime,

drive down maintenance costs and eliminate production losses.
