Sort a List1. Select any cell in the list.

2. On the Data menu, select Sort. . Alt + D, S

3. Specify the column(s) on which to sort.

4. Specify the sort order, and click OK.

Use AutoFilter to Filter a List1. Select any cell in the list.

Format a Chart1. Select the portion of the chart you want to

modify.

Modify the Contents of a Chart1. Select any part of the chart.

Insert and Position Clip Art1. On the Insert menu, point to Picture and

select Clip Art. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Alt + I, P, C

2. Type search text into the Search for box.

3. In the search results, click the image to insertit into the file.

4. Drag the graphic to the desired position anddrag a handle to resize it, if necessary.

Insert a Picture from a File1. On the Insert menu, point to Picture and

2. In the Insert Picture dialog box, navigate tothe location of your picture file.

3. Click the picture file and click Insert. Alt + S

4. Drag the graphic to the desired position anddrag a handle to resize it, if necessary.

Create and Modify a Graphic1. Click the Drawing button to display the

Drawing toolbar.

2. Select a shape or an AutoShape from theDrawing toolbar.

3. Click in the worksheet to insert the graphic.

4. With the graphic selected, open the Formatmenu and select AutoShape. . . Alt + O, O

5. In the Format AutoShape dialog box, makethe desired changes and click OK.

Insert a Diagram1. Click the Drawing button to display the

Drawing toolbar.

2. Click the Insert Diagram or OrganizationChart button on the Drawing toolbar.

3. Select the diagram type and click OK.

Insert a Comment1. Select the cell in which you want to add a

comment.

2. On the Insert menu, select Comment. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Alt + I, M

3. Type the comment text.

4. Click outside the comment to close thecomment box.

Edit a Comment1. Select the cell that contains the comment

you want to edit.

2. On the Insert menu, select Edit Comment. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Alt + I, E

3. Edit the comment, as desired.

4. Click outside the comment to close thecomment box.

Use the Research Tool1. Press and hold Alt and click the word you

want to look up.

Click the Research button on theStandard toolbar and specify the search textin the Search for box.

2. Select a resource from the drop-down list inthe Research task pane.

3. View the resulting information and copy itto the worksheet, as desired.

Save a Worksheet as a Web Page1. On the File menu, select Save as Web Page.
