Dragon Ball AF

Years after Omega Shenron has been defeated and the Dragon Balls of Earth had been rendered useless,

another threat has come to Earth. With Goku nowhere to be seen, the saiyan prince Vegeta and the son

of Son Goku himself, Son Gohan, go to meet the threat. There they fight a warrior that outclasses both

of them, even after both have transformed to the once awe inspiring Super Saiyan 4, and both are left in

a beaten and nearly broken state. So begins Dragon Ball AF. From here the story is up to you, as there

are two variations to choose from. The first is the version by the author Toyble, in which Xicor, the son

of Goku and the evil Western Supreme Kai, arrives on Earth with his mother in search of Goku and

strong opponents. The second version is by author YoungJiji and begins with the arrival of Frieza’s son

Iza, a being who is stated to be ten times as powerful as his father. You will begin in one of these

universes of your choice moments before Xicor or Ize arrives on Earth. In order to prepare yourself, take

this +1000cp.

Origin:

Drop In

No history is given to you. You arrive on earth amidst a city, and soon enough you will be able to sense

the power level of an incredibly powerful being heading toward earth. Whether you fight or flee is your

choice, but know that you must live with it.

Z Warrior

You’ve grown up here, adventured with many of the strongest people in the world, nay, the universe,

and have grown for it. You are a warrior of justice, and you will not let anything threaten your home or

your friends. Especially not whatever is heading towards earth right now.

Alien

Earthlings are a peculiar bunch, you’ve found. You’ve come to visit as a tourist, to take in the sights and

smells of this world and its people, although it seems to have been at an inopportune time. Your ship is

reading a large energy signature heading toward it. Maybe you won’t go down after all.

Villain

This rotten world is filled with rotten people. You’re sick of it. You’ll destroy every last thing on earth. Or

maybe you won’t. Maybe you’ve retired. Regardless, you’re not the only high roller in town. Whatever it

is heading towards earth, it’s probably bad news. At the very least it could be a good fight. Only god

knows how long its been.

Race:

Earthling – Free

You are an Earthling. Whether it be human-type, dog-type, cat-type, or whatever is up to you. All that’s

certain is that you’re from earth.

Demon – 200

You, as Dabura had before you, come from the Demon Realm. You are a demon, a being with colored

skin and occasionally with horns, your form is muscular and you have more strength than most normal

humans by a good amount. Discount on Negative Energy Field, Weird Guy is free.

Namekian – 200

As a Namekian you hail from the planet Namek and are, in essence, a sentient slug-plant. Appearance

wise you and your race are bald with two antennas, have green skin, and are about the same size as a

human. What sets you apart is you enhanced hearing and your physical capabilities, as you are of the

warrior clan and are of decent strength. Discount on Kamehameha and Knowledge of Your Foe.

Frieza Race – 300

You hail from the same race as the tyrant Frieza, a race of generally human size beings with purple skin

and a white carapace, you true form is generally hidden by a reduced state. Ability wise you are well

beyond most other species and could easily become a warlord or the like in the wake of Frieza’s

absence. Discount on Behold My Power, Reduced Form is free.

Saiyan – 500

The saiyan race is one of battle hardened warriors who seek battle and glory at every stage of life. In

appearance almost identical to humans with the exception of a tail, the real difference comes from their

power and transformations. Besides being far stronger than any normal human, they have the ability to

transform into an Ozaru, which is essentially a giant monkey with incredible destructive capabilities.

However, they are far more famous for their other series of transformed state: Super Saiyan. In this

form they have golden spiked hair along with a golden aura around their form, and with it a multiplier

on their power. They have greater forms still, having Super Saiyan 2, 3, 4, and, recently, even 5. Go

Further Beyond, Go All Out, and Willpower are free.

Kaioshin – 500

The Kaioshin, otherwise known as the Supreme Kai, are the gods of this world, the heavenly beings that

exist in a far removed realm from that of earth or even the afterlife. In appearance they are not much

different from humans save for their skin color, which can be one of many colors, and their hair, which is

always white. They have the ability of creation, able to create nearly any material in the universe with

merely a wave of the hand, and are such fierce combatants that it is said they could have killed Frieza

single handedly if they had chosen to do so. Discount Kamehameha, Instant Transmission is free.

Hybrid – Variable

Have you chosen to be a hybrid? A being that is a mix of two of the races above? Then so be it. You may

purchase a second race equal to or lower than your primary at half price.

Perks

100cp perks are free to their origin, all others are discounted. Any perk with a discount from race and

origin is free. You gain the ability to use Ki by taking this jump and start at the level of Trunks at the start

of DBGT

Drop In

Weird Guy – 100

An enemy focused on his target is dangerous, but one that has let down is guard is asking for a sneak

attack. You have mastered the way of acting in unusual ways that will distract your foes and even fool

them into believing you to be weak, even when your own power outmatches their own.

Knowledge of Your Foe – 200

When your own power has exceeded that of others for so long it becomes easy to view yourself as

above all others. Alas, it is a foolish notion. There is always someone stronger. And you’ll know for sure.

One sight you’ll be able to discern how powerful an opponent is in comparison to yourself, and you’ll

even know if they are hiding their power or have another, more powerful form. Even if it should be

hidden or locked behind an unseen transformation you’ll always know how powerful they are at their

full capability.

Instant Transmission – 400

The Yardrat from the planet of the same name nursed Goku back to health and taught him their

signature technique: Instant Transmission. The ability to teleport to nearly any location in the universe,

and possibly beyond, so long as the user could sense the energy of another. A technique they have also

shared with you. With time, training, and guidance, you may learn a more advanced technique known as

Instantaneous Movement, a teleportation technique known by few that allows them to move to any

location they know of without the need of an energy signature.

Potential – 600

Everyone has a peak, a point where they can rise no further. A point where there is no more mountain

to climb. But not you. There is no longer a limit to how far you can grow in power, merely in the time it

takes to achieve it. For while you can grow in strength, speed, endurance, and more in fractions of the

time it would take others, you will still eventually reach a point where growth is slowed, though never

stopped. Note, however, that this power does not necessarily stay with you forever, as without a

method to keep your newfound power it will diminish just ask quickly as it was gained if training is

ceased.

Z Warrior

Willpower – 100

What is a warrior if he does not have the will of one? Your willpower is several leagues above average,

allowing you to push yourself to your limits and, when you need it most, even beyond your limit for a

short time.

Turtle Style – 200

A mastery of martial arts in this world places one from the realm of normality into one of superhuman

capability. And soon enough you, too, will be a master. You gain an innate talent for any and all physical

techniques, learning fighting styles in mere fractions of the time that average individuals would take.

Adapting these styles and techniques in battle is like second nature to you, and in a lifetime of training

few could be called your equal in physical combat alone.

Kamehameha – 400

The Kamehameha was an energy based technique created by Master Roshi and later taught to Son

Goku, who has since perfected it and adapted it many times over as his own signature attack. And it is

merely the beginning. You have an innate talent for all energy based techniques, able to learn and

create them far faster than your peers. With time, you could even learn to create solid items

temporarily with Ki alone.

Go Further Beyond – 600

The saiyan race is known for overcoming their previous limits and have done so using the technique of

transformation, unlocking the form known as Super Saiyan. In this world they have pushed this ability to

its limits, achieving the glorious Super Saiyan 5, a form that resembles the previous stage of excessive

hair and body fur like that of a monkeys but to an even greater degree. The true effect, however, is that

this form allows them to tap into stupendous power unlike anything they’ve seen before. You, too, now

have the ability to unlock transformations with intense training with no upper limit, allowing you to

unlock forms never before seen. And to start it all off you can already have a transformation. Do note,

however, that each new form will require more training than the last and will require a mastery of the

previous state.

Alien

Welcoming Party – 100

Whenever you arrive on a new inhabited planet or in a new inhabited location you’ve never been to,

and so long as you will it, you will be greeted by a group of the most powerful and important people of

said planet.

Space Tech – 200

The Dragon Ball universe is filled with advanced technology, a good portion of it created by species not

from earth. As an alien yourself, you’ve learned a good deal of this technology. To start with, you are

capable of making the customary scouters worn by most soldiers under Frieza’s empire, as well as things

such as energy blasters and basic space pods. With time and study you’ll quickly learn to build even

greater marvels such as Frieza’s flagship, basic androids such as Android 8, and even gravity chambers.

Reduced Form – 400

The villain Frieza, his brother Cooler, and even his son Ize have all displayed a peculiar ability. That ability

is the creation of weaker forms that allow them to more easily manage their own energy. Now, you two

have a similar ability, allowing you to create weaker and weaker forms in order to better manage your

energy. Not a problem, you say? You’ll also gain a sizeable training boost the weaker the form is,

allowing you to train in a greatly weakened state and letting you see results when you transform back

into your true form. And while if you die in this weakened state there are no second chances you can

return to your true form with only a single transformation, no matter how many forms are in between,

and once you begin a transformation others seem to just let you do it.

Weird Physiology – 600

As an alien being your physiology allows you to survive essentially anything. Whether it be slicing you

into a thousand pieces or destroying everything but a single eye, you’ll survive it all. The downside

however, other than it just hurting like a bitch, is that you have no capacity for regeneration. On the

bright side replacing parts of your body with technology is incredibly easy.

Villain

Go All Out – 100

Sadly, most opponents don’t put their all into battle. Instead, they hold back, gauging their enemy and

looking for weaknesses or sometimes just having fun. No more. With just a few words you can push

others into using their maximum power, making them go all out in a fight. Of course, you don’t have to

be the one fighting for this to work, although some will have morals strong enough to resist your

temptation.

Behold My Power – 200

You have power well beyond others, and it is time they realized how doomed they really are. At will you

can allow another being to feel and understand the difference in power between you and them, and

should yours be far greater they will feel a sense of hopelessness or awe, whichever you choose.

Negative Energy Field – 400

Around you is a field of negative energies powerful enough to smother positive energy, rendering you all

but immune to attacks and abilities from those with justice in their hearts. This, for all intents and

purposes, leaves you unscathed by any attack from morally good beings or being using holy or otherwise

light sided energy. Do note, however, that if they are powerful enough your foes can brute force passed

your field and affect you, and that evil beings bypass this effect completely.

Ridiculous Power – 600

Simply put, you have the raw power of a villain. You have power heads and shoulders above most other

fighters to start with, with your power increased to that of Ize, the son of Frieza stated to have ten times

the power of his father. This puts you well above the power displayed by Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta or

Gohan but still well under the power of a Super Saiyan 5.

Companions

Import – 50/200

You may import a companion for 50cp a piece or 200 for 8. They gain an origin and 800cp to spend,

however if they want a race besides Earthling they must purchase it themselves.

Canon Companion – 200

You may choose any canon individual in either Toyble’s or YoungJiji’s version to take with you as a

companion.

Drop In

AF Manga – 100

The AF manga comes in two variations. One was written by the current illustrator for Dragon Ball Super,

Toyotarō, while the other was written by YoungJiji. Now, you have a copy of both in their complete

form, giving you a heads up on the events soon to pass and the enemies you’ll have to prepare for.

Crystal Ball of Seeing – 200

Roshi’s elder sister, Fortuneteller Baba, is known not only for being a mischievous witch but also for her

crystal ball. Likewise, Old Kai is also known to be in possession of one, and that is because of its ability.

With this crystal ball the viewer may view any location in the universe, including side dimensions such as

hell or heaven.

Training Gi – 400

Goku, at least in the early days, was known to use weighted clothing in his training, only removing it in

order to fight incredibly strong opponents. This set of clothing in particular is imbued with magic that

makes the outfit weigh just enough to lower your top speed to a crawl each time it is worn. And once

you’re finally able to move around at the speed you did before while wearing it? Just remove it and put

it back on again to increase the weight once more.

Gravity Chamber – 600

The Brief family is one of geniuses, and their company, the Capsule Corporation, is responsible for many

of the luxuries used every day by the people of earth. One such invention is the DynoCap, of which you

now have one. While miraculous on its own, yours is special. Within yours is a sizeable gravity, one that

can increase the gravity inside of it to any amount conceivable without affecting the world outside of

damaging the machine itself.

Z Warrior

Training Dummy – 100

This dummy, oddly shaped like Yamcha, is perfect for practicing techniques as it is not only invincible,

but it will also move rapidly to avoid attacks and will even display a list of hits and how much damage

they would have done in units of Yamcha. As in, how many Yamcha would it kill. Yeah, someone really

hates Yamcha for some reason. He isn’t even in these fan comics. Odd.

Sacred Water – 200

At Korin’s tower lies a bottle of Sacred Water, which has been blessed with the ability to remove the

effects of corruption and mind control with merely a splash. Bottle refills weekly.

Z Sword – 400

The Z Sword was, like the sword Excalibur of yore, embedded within the earth and awaiting the arrival

of the chosen one. In truth, the sword had been merely a seal for the Supreme Kai known as Old Kai.

This sword, an exact replica of the original, can be used in a ritual done by a Supreme Kai in order to seal

another being for eternity. Or, at least until someone breaks the sword. As a weapon it is also incredibly

sharp, able to slice through rock with ease. For brevities sake, you are also capable of using the ritual to

seal another being. Be warned, however, that should the ritual be done incorrectly the sealing will be

temporary and last only a month.

Hyperbolic Time Chamber – 600

In your warehouse rests a door leading to a copy of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, a giant white expanse

with only a single building. Inside of this chamber the gravity is increased tenfold and, when the door is

shut, time inside moves separately from the time outside at a rate of 1 day outside equaling 1 year

inside.

Alien

Scouter – 100

Frieza’s warriors, unable to sense the Ki of others, require these devices worn over a single eye in order

to detect lifeforms and gauge their power. Yours is a cut above the rest, able to detect the actual power

of any being rather than just their Ki and assigning a number value to them. For reference, the average

human has a power level of 5 and most rarely exceeding 20.

Dragon Radar – 200

The device created by Bulma in order to search the world for Dragon Balls is now yours. While the

Dragon Balls of this world are useless, this device has been altered to locate any and all supernatural

items within its range, which in this case covers the entire planet.

Battle Armor – 400

The advanced warriors of this world seldom use armor anymore, but despite that someone has made a

suit of advanced power armor that could give even them a run for their money. This armor is made of

incredibly durable material and has advanced targeting and weapon systems, having easily enough

defense and fire power to match even the likes of a super saiyan.

Alien Fleet – 600

What good is an alien overlord without an army? At your command now stands a small fleet of ships of

the variety used by Frieza’s forces, along with generic aliens and sentient species. The ships are FTL,

have advanced bio-tanks for healing, and have impressive weaponry that would easily demolish modern

civilizations. If you wish, you may change the race of said fleet to that of the one purchased for yourself,

barring hybrids.

Villain

Miasma Pipe – 100

Good guys don’t smoke, so obviously you do. This pipe, when smoked, will release a thick black fog that

will surround you and protect you with illusions formed from the smoke.

Dimension Sword – 200

The sword of Janemba is now yours. This sword, transformed from a mere club, is not only

supernaturally tough and can channel Ki, allowing you to slice at opponents from a distance by sending

out blasts of cutting Ki.

Staff of Corruption – 400

Magic is a powerful thing, though seldom seen. In your possession is a staff of dark magic that, once

you’ve defeated someone in combat, allows you to corrupt them and force them under your control

while also providing a sizeable boost to their powers. Note that this hold can be broken by those with

strong willpowers or those who would become more powerful than you with the boost to their strength.

Corrupted Dragon Balls – 600

The Dragon Balls. A set of seven orbs with corresponding stars that, when all are brought together,

summon the great dragon Shenron, a being capable of granting nearly any wish. Alas, you have the

corrupted variation, and it seems they no longer hold the power they once did. Instead of summoning

the great Shenron you may use these Dragon Balls to summon one of the 7 Shadow Dragons. The

summoned dragon will make use of all 7 Dragon Balls and their power, allowing them to equal the might

of Omega Shenron. Should your power exceed that of Super Su Shenron then you may instead choose to

summon one of the newer Shadow Dragons at the same level as Super Su Shenron.

Drawbacks

Ugly Color Scheme – 100

For some reason the color of your body, hair, and outfits has changed to be… really ugly. Like, really bad.

It will always upset you when you look in a mirror and others will mention it constantly, and you will

always be embarrassed by it.

Hungry Hungry Saiyan – 100

Just like a Saiyan your appetite is tenfold that of a normal human’s, although in your case your hunger

never subsides. For your duration here you will feel incredibly hungry regardless of the amount you eat.

What are you, Yamcha – 100

You’re useless. Or at least, everyone treats you like you are. For the duration of your stay you’ll be

treated as an annoyance at best, with all of your deeds earning you nothing in the minds of others.

Prepare to be ignored constantly.

Frieza’s Army – 200

Frieza’s Army, a group with an untold number of soldiers, has marked you for death. As such, they will

pursue you across the universe and attempt to kill you at every opportunity, sending wave after wave of

opponents with barely a week of respite between them. While not particularly strong, they will not

cease their volley of attacks until you leave this world.

Villain Mode – 200

The Z fighters are determined to beat the crap out of you at every opportunity, constantly finding you,

attacking you, and leaving you an inch from death. Or at least, they will if you do anything not

considered morally good. Every evil and even neutral act will summon one of the Z fighters to your

location for a match, and you will have to seriously fight as they are always scaled to just below your

max power if they weren’t already. After the fight you have a 1-day grace period from summoning a

fighter, during which all evil acts committed will increase the next Z fighter’s strength. Do to many evil

deeds and they’ll surpass you and become a very real threat to your life.

Caught in the Crossfire – 200

For the next 10 years the Goku and the other Z fighters will be neck deep in constant battles which you

will inevitably get dragged into, each one threatening the Earth and occasionally bringing forth beings

that would require the help of every single fighter in order to defeat them. Expect to be outclassed

constantly.

Villains of the Past – 400

Frieza. Cell. Buu. The Shadow Dragons. You will face them all at the top of their game, all at once, at

least once a year. Each year all of them will appear around you at a random moment and attack, and

while during the first year they are only at canon levels, each year after they will grow stronger and

learn how to counteract your moves until, by the end of your stay here, fighting them all alone may very

well be impossible.

Sealed Away – 400

You’ve been sealed away. Whether it be in the realm of dragons above heaven (Toyble) or within the

Dragon Balls themselves (YoungJiji) you are trapped and must rely on the power of your friends, allies,

and companions to save you. If they don’t find out a way to release you from your entrapment by the

end of this jump then your chain is over.

Disaster Known as Fanon – 600

Something’s gone wrong. The world’s quality has… fallen. There are beings reaching Super Saiyan 6, 10,

even 1000, and it just keeps getting worse. Their thoughts and speech are like that of a retarded

duckling being broiled alive, and their power levels are total bullshit. Surviving in this new world filled

with fanon rejects is going to be nigh impossible unless you can run and hide.

The End

That’s it. You’ve survived what may have been your most difficult challenge yet. Or maybe it wasn’t.

Maybe you’ve already surpassed this world. Regardless, you time here is done. Or is it? I have an offer.

You see, there were two options at the beginning, each pertaining to a different universe, a different set

of events. And so far you’ve only experience one. If you wish it, you may enter the other world, the

Dragon Ball AF universe who haven’t already gone to. You gain nothing new, no extra perks or friends or

items. Merely more experiences. As you’ve already completed this jump any drawbacks will not carry

over to this new adventure, as it is just that. An adventure.

Regardless of your answer, you now have the choice of remaining in this world, either the world of

Toyble, YoungJiji, or an amalgam of both. Or maybe you wish to move onwards toward a brand new

adventure in a completely different universe? Or maybe you just want to go home? The choice is yours.
