EForms Overview EForms are to be used for capturing Data.

For the purpose of Internet Based Assessments (IBA), the Candidate Data viz. Name,

Roll No, Applicant Password and Subject details are uploaded in database through

EForms.

Create Eforms Step1:

Open browser (Preferred Browser is Google Chrome) and type

https://www.tcsion.com

Step 2:

Click on SIGN IN as shown in the screen shot below

Step 3:

Enter the login credentials, provided by the TCS iON Project Manager:

Step 4:

Enter Dual authentication credentials.

Step 5:

On expiry, click on Change Password, change the old password, and create a new

password.

Step 6:

Click on “W” icon at the bottom left of the page.

Step 7:

Click on EForms.

Step 8:

Click on E-Forms tab

Step 9:

Select IBA Form 1.

Step 10:

Click on Download.

Step 11:

Select Download blank template.

Step 12:

Click on Extra details to select “Extra 1”

Step 13:

Click on Download to download the template.

Step 14:

Click on Submit (with default selection)

Step 15:

Complete file download. Fill all fields in the excel template downloaded and save

the file.

Details on each of the fields in the excel template. Field Name Explanation

*Application Seq No System generated field,no inputs required

*App Status Pending

*Remarks This Field will have "NA" as in put.

*App Date

(dd/MMM/yyyy)

This field should be in "Text" format and the date should be in

"25/Oct/2019" format. This date represents the date of data upload.

*Candidate Name Full Name of the candidate/applicant

Field Name Explanation

*Employee No Registration number or roll number

*Email Email id of the candidate

*Application No Registration number or roll number of candidates

*Location Location of the candidates center

*Mobile No Candidates Mobile Number

*Role Represents the role of the candidate eg; student, teacher, etc.

*Username This is a unique field and can not have duplicate details. This cell can

have Alphanumeric data only, no special characters allowed.

Extra1 This field is used for entering the unique code for rule based candidate

subscription.

*Applicant Password This is not a unique field and can have common passwords.

*Mock Password This is set as Mock@1234, just a field, which can be used as applicant

password, in case of any mock IBAs

Step 16:

Click on Upload.

Step 17:

Browse and upload File.

Step 18:

The system will confirm about file being successfully updated.

Create Candidate Subscription

Step 1:

Click on “Settings”.

Step 2:

Click on “Manage Subscription”

Step 3:

Select “Rule based subscription”

Step 4:

Click on “Create Rule”

Step 5:

Select Subscription type as “Online Assessment Subscription”

Step 6:

Check on “Schedule rule for existing applicants” and select the IBA created from

Online assessment drop down list.

Step 7:

Select Label as “Extra 1”.

Note:

Insert Rule Name as the name of the subject or the IBA

Set Product ID and Product Name to any alphanumeric value

Step 8:

Apply the conditions based on the subject candidate would be appearing for.

Fill the value in Value Field entered in “Extra 1” column while creating details of

EForm created.

Note:

“From” and “to date” should be same as “App date” in Eform template.

Step 9:

Click on “Validate”.

Step 10:

Check validation message

Click “OK”

Step 11:

Click on Save Filter

Enter Filter Name (same as entered in Step 8)

Click on Save

Click on Subscribe.

Note:

Above steps are to be repeated for creating multiple Rules based on the candidate

mapping against each of IBA.

“Your Rule is successfully Saved” message on screen completes the Candidate

Subscription.

Generating Static Files This generates the link for candidate login. It’s a static link which can be used to run /

launch the assessment on the browser.

Step 1:

Click on Generate Static Files on left navigation panel

and then on right side as shown below.

Static Files will be generated successfully.

Step 2:

Link no 2 (in the screenshot) is the login link to be used by the candidate to login.

https://g26.tcsion.com:443//EForms/configuredHtml/2579/62545/login.html

2579 in URL is the Org ID in which credentials are mapped for customer.

62545 is the Eform ID (to remain same until new EForm is created)

It is advisable to always use “Generate Static Files” for generating login link.
