Chiltern District Council would like your views on the proposed leisure/community hub project. There is a display of the proposed facility in the Council offices in the reception area of King George V House, King George V Road, Amersham HP6 5AW. Additionally, Council staff will be promoting opportunities to comment on the facility across the district between 5 th November and 12 th December 2016. The Council has also created a separate page on its website in order to keep you informed about the proposed new leisure/community hub. Please visit www.chiltern.gov.uk/leisureconsultation to complete the on-line survey and express your views. Creating new and improved facilities at Chiltern Pools Chiltern District Council is considering the development of a new state-of-the-art leisure and community hub to replace the existing Chiltern Pools, community centre facilities, library and youth centre. It is proposed that the new facility will be located on the existing leisure centre/community facilities site and provide a range of activities, such as those outlined on the following pages.

If developed, the new facility is envisaged as a hub for the whole community, serving all age groups and people with diverse interests - a modern leisure destination for residents of Chiltern and beyond.

The new facility could include:-• 8-lane 25 metre swimming pool with viewing• Diving / teaching pool alongside a kids’ splash pad area• 4 badminton court sports hall• 2 x squash courts• Climbing wall• Children’s soft play area and clip ‘n’ climb• Library• Café area • Exercise studios including spin• 150 station gym • Community centre (events / theatre space) & community meeting spaces
