CREATING

Page 2: Creating Presentation

if discovering stories is my passion, creating them is my art! i invented nomadic storytelling because i believe stories have no home, only the right circumstance for the right project. !this is the part of the process where you take your unique story and develop it like only you can; ensuring your

customers fall in love. !!!

Page 3: Creating Presentation

MULTI-MEDIA

Page 4: Creating Presentation

there’s a fine line between simple & boring, but a multimedia approach leaves your customers yearning for more. !some stories are simpler than others, but when you approach the discovery process like i do, it’s rare to use a single media. !

VIDEO

the possibilities are endless, of course, but certain multimedia approaches work for a reason. here’s a few i love to use:

THE ULTIMATE ABOUT PAGE

REAL WORLD EVENTS

EXPERIENTIAL EVENTS

SOCIAL MEDIA

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

WEBSITES

BLOGGING

SPONSORSHIPS

VISUAL ARTWORK

GRAPHIC DESIGN

EBOOKS

EMAIL

CONFERENCES

MULTI-APPROACH

Page 7: Creating Presentation

i must sound like a broken record, but each story, and

every project i work on, is UNIQUE. however, like good media, certain approaches WORK! !gloss over the following and place yourself in each scenario. if your creative juices don’t bubble with joy,

maybe brand storytelling isn’t for you. !

Page 8: Creating Presentation

PRODUCT JOURNEY STORYTELLING

no matter what your product is, there’s a story behind it. who would enjoy this unique story? your customer, that’s who! !whether it’s the grander journey (prototypes and origins) or the daily journey your product takes, invite your customers to experience how their beloved product makes it

from a-to-b.

PERFECT FOR: MANUFACTURERS, BREWERIES

Page 9: Creating Presentation

HERITAGE STORYTELLING

this approach focusses on the origins and heritage of your business, unearthing the history behind your brand whilst inviting your customer to be part of it. !you don’t need a 100 year old business for this approach to work, simply a compelling beginning, an inspiring journey, and passionate people. !you may assume your customers know how you began and where you’ve come from, but unless you show them, how can they?

PERFECT FOR: MANUFACTURERS, BREWERIES, SOCIAL ENTERPRISES

BEHIND THE SCENES STORYTELLING

i get it, you think your daily routine is boring, but

guess what... it isn’t! !by introducing your customers to the people behind your business, the processes & equipment you use, and every other aspect of your day, you provide something your competitors aren’t. !don’t underestimate the excitement a machine... or recipe... or approach can have on your customers.

PERFECT FOR: MANUFACTURERS, BREWERIES, SOCIAL ENTERPRISES

CASE STUDY STORYTELLING

do you know that boring testimonial/case study page on your site? imagine using video and a storytelling approach to capture your customers' attention so they share it with everyone they know. !not only that, you strengthen relationships with existing customers too, because you care enough to delve into their world, share them with your audience, and learn how to better serve them. !a simple approach with big benefits.

PERFECT FOR: SOCIAL ENTERPRISES, ENTREPRENEURS

WORK CULTURE STORYTELLING

do you value the culture you’ve built? if the answer is yes, you have to share it with your customers! after all, your staff are the people they interact with. !work culture can be the difference between a one time fling, and a long lasting relationship. !but wait, this approach develops work culture too.

how? because you involve your staff, include them in your story, and introduce them to a new side of your business.

PERFECT FOR: SOCIAL ENTERPRISES, MANUFACTURERS, BREWERIES

PROJECT STORYTELLING

similar to case study storytelling, project storytelling focusses on the people, products, and

service behind a project. !unlike case study storytelling, this covers a large project, not necessarily a single customer. !you have examples you’re proud of. don’t tell people about

them, create an epic story and show them!

PERFECT FOR: SOCIAL ENTERPRISES, MANUFACTURERS

Page 14: Creating Presentation

A ‘DAY IN THE LIFE’ STORYTELLING

ideal for individuals, a ‘day in the life’ demonstrates the gritty realities of wearing your shoes. !you may consider your daily day boring, but your customers

want to see what you get up to, how you relax, and who the real you is. !a personal approach like this isn’t only engaging, but informative and persuasive. !

PERFECT FOR: ENTREPRENEURS

MULTI-PROCESS

Page 16: Creating Presentation

you may wonder how long this process takes and how much it costs. well, there’s no simple answer i’m afraid, because

each story is unique & bespoke. !however, you’re kept in the loop the entire time, and the finer details such as cost, time lines, and objectives are produced beforehand. !let me explain... !

Page 17: Creating Presentation

1: THE DISCOVERY SESSION: this is our first point of

contact, where we meet and discuss the potential possibilities ahead. this meeting is FREE, and where we decide if there’s a feasible project ahead. !!2: THE DISCOVERY PROCESS: at the end of the discovery

process, we create a set of project objectives & payment details. !i aim to make sure we’re on the same page at all times. objectives set at this point ensures this. now is also the time to fine tune the costs, and ensure we remain in budget. !!3: THE CREATION PROCESS: before i create anything, i produce a project storyboard, action plan & time line. !you need to see what’s going to be produced before it’s produced. we also need to ensure our diaries align, and a simple yet organised step makes sure this is so.

creating your story is the fun part, and as your project develops, you’ll see your story spring to life. !i hope you now understand the exciting journey your story

takes, and that you receive a bespoke & tailored service from my good self. !a lot of people stop at the creation process, but not me
