SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDINGS: Students will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of drama through practical and theoretical study and come to understand the role of the actor, director and designer in creating a piece of theatre. Students will develop their acting skills, both individually and in groups, and through devising original drama. These skills will help students to communicate feelings and ideas to an audience, as well as foster understanding of the performance process and enable students to evaluate the various stages of the process. Ultimately, encouraging an appreciation and life-long enjoyment of Drama.
CONTENT: Through practical and theoretical study, students develop an understanding and enjoyment of drama, developing group and individual skills and studying ways to communicate ideas and feelings to an audience. Students will work with:

INFORMATION SHEET SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDINGS: At ISM the IGCSE Mathematics curriculum offers a rigorous and challenging program, and students are encouraged to develop resilience, confidence and the ability to analyse questions, selecting an appropriate mathematical technique and then communicating their findings in the language of mathematics.
Mathematical techniques : Students should be able to:
organise, interpret and present information accurately in written, tabular, graphical and diagrammatic forms
perform calculations by suitable methods
use an electronic calculator and also perform some straightforward calculations without a calculator
understand systems of measurement in everyday use and make use of them in the solution of problems

Ideas and concepts are consolidated through class work and homework. All homework is reviewed through teacher input or peer assessment, with written or oral feedback
