Performing ArtsDiscover the world of dance with our introductory programs. Children as young as three will be introduced to dance through creative movement classes before choosing a specialization in ballet or jazz. Adults, new or returning to dance, will enjoy a total body workout that incorporates the techniques of dance.

RECITAL DANCE

Dance! Dance! Perform! Children four years and older will enjoy the thrill and excitement of ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern dance and production classes in this fun-filled, progressive 26 week program. Operating from September to May, children will be taught the required skills by qualified instructors in a fun and non-competitive environment. All students will perform in a Dance Recital at the Living Arts Centre, complete with professionally designed costumes.

Note: costumes are an extra fee in addition to the registration cost. We reserve the right to change class times and place participants in appropriate levels. WATER MARBLING ART – EBRU

Traditional Turkish Water Marbling Art – Ebru is one of the most unique and beautiful forms of Turkish Art. Ebru is formed by drawing designs with dye on top of water and then carefully placing paper on the surface of the water to absorb the dye. Five techniques will be introduced with two prints for each technique. Since each dye bath can only be transferred to paper once, every piece of Ebru is unique.
