• Dinasours, including Tyrannosaurus rex, dominiate.

• First snakes appear.

• Mass extintion

• Mass extintion at end of period causes disappearance of many land and marine life forms, including dinasours

EVOLUTIONARY CHANGES•Evolution in plant life , specifically flowerplants related to these appeared: Willow ,Elm ,Grape ,Birch ,Maple ,Grass ,SequoiaTree

•Insects :a form of a dragonfly

•Reptiles: Crocodiles, GiantTurtle

•No Mammals in this period

•Terrestrial organisms: arthropods(flies)
